Oh just that I noticed Felix was on -2, and I can't imagine why anyone would want to "smite" such a happy chappy! He can't even grumble like I can :-) So I can only guess he said something to upset someone who is easily upset.

What might be confusing some folks is that it's "karma", as in what goes around comes around. I've applauded a couple of posts, and noticed my score too has gone up not long after. Likewise, I assume if you smite, your karma may suffer too.

i cannot understand what is going on ,like the rest of you my karma is hit all the time,at my last check i was -7 and also like felix i have not made any remarks against PEA,maybe people don't like me because i am WELSH,still will not lose any sleep over that.  |

Just did a quick search and saw this: http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=104.0[/geek] You have two problems with this thing: first, you have to rely on people being mature enough to use it based on the quality of people's posts - information given, logic of debate, relevance and so on - and it should be abundantly obvious that not everyone is capable of that. Secondly, it's offering people a chance to judge others on something other than the quality of their posts. Because of point one, that is not a good idea. |
