Dear All,

I have been reading thaifootball.com as early as 2005 to get information on Thai Football scene. Thank you to the creator for its contribution .

I am an expat living in Bangkok Thailand since 2001 . I am interested in Setting up a football club in Bangkok and have been in talks with several Senior Thai FA officials regarding about a new club registration .

As for a new club it needs to start at the lowest div 4 or something if im not wrong playing in a knck out stages of its pyramid in order to climb up the ladder to the top div 3 , 2 and so on ..

I would like members of the forum to share their ideas on Football scene in Thailand.

If anyone would like to be part of this project as investor or partners please do let me know Smiley

Thanks
J

Thats true that should be one the Khor Cups. If you win them you can go up and play Regional League. However, you also should be able to start right at RL level.

There are currently around 30 teams from Bangkok and the Bangkok area in the TPL, D1 and Regional League. Then add a couple of dozen more from the Royal Cup. Are there not already more than enough teams from Bangkok? Would it not be a better idea to invest in and back a club that already exists?

Is that pop star turn donught seller you mean tik shiro ?  Grin

Well we have infact been looking to take over lower division club but when looking at things we are not in a rush, setting up a new club is much more cheaper compare taking over clubs which some owners are selling at above the market price.

As for Port Authority i think they just want to sell part of their shares not 100%

I would think that taking over a revampable delapedated overpriced club would consume less expenses than start up from ground zero if you looking at 3 5 7 and 10 years business plans. For one thing, taking over a team will allow you to gain immediate  preliminaly entrance to the promised land. Unless you have concurrent service such as quality Academy to generate income to support the club while taking controle of growing the talents also while struggling to move up league ranks which I think, conservatively speaking, not an easy thing to accomplish, given social strcture and business climate. Good luck with the project.

How are you doing ?  I was going through the website and would like to make inquiries.

I'm located in Lampang, north of Thailand, close to Chiangmai.  I study here and I used to play for Lampang fc 2009 -2010 but  I had to quit due to bad management in the team.

Now I'm actually looking for contacts because I would go for trials in some teams or be part of some teams.

I have youtube, cv .

Let me know if you can be of any help to me.

i await your propitious response.

Thanks
