Since it hasn't been dedicated thread to this club established on this board, I will take the liberty of starting one. I may not be able to following the club activities vigorously but hopefully I can bring the thoughts, the feeling and movement of one of the too close to comfort as far as football development is concerned, in my opinion of course. Not being one of economic power and greater opportunities of individuals growth have played a big role in meager local football programme. Although occasionally a few talents have rised up at national level and were selected to National Squad but very few people realised of those talents orgin as they were representing big name clubs by the time people get to know them. Hopefully, I can bring something uniquely Angthong to share with those who may find it worth knowing. By the way, Angthong is one word with 2 syllabels and I tend to write it in such for the longest time. So, when I write Angthong, it essentially meant as many wrote it Ang Thong. :-)

I must apologise bon-nirnam that when I first saw this thread, I had to look on Google maps to find out where AngThong is. Now I know that it's about a 2 hours drive north of Bangkok.  Smiley

Anyway, you'll be hoping that Saraburi and Rayong can win today so that the competition in Central and East league isn't as strong this season. Ratchaburi have made some big signings and will be looking to earn promotion.

Do you think AngThong have what it takes to win the league this season?

Thanks for your interest, info about other clubs activities related to Angthong, shall we say, well being and of course, projectile question. The truth is that although I was growing up in Angthong, Phothong/wisetchaichan to be exact, I been living in California since 1982. Last time I was in the Province was 1997 and I visited the club website for the first time 30 before I start the thread. Pretty brave, eh? :-)  Blame it on vinnie if things going for it was him who provided me with the link. But if all goes well, :-) it's ought to be me!  I have the slightest idea how will they do this season and it will take conceivably the entire season for me to get to know the club. My goal is to observe the development rather than getting wind up on winning but I will beglad to share with you of other supporters. CHEERS!
