I am sure some of us have seen them at the recent Asian Games. What physiques that was! They make majority of men footballer looked like ordinary school boys who play football. In mid70s-80s Thailand women's football always consisting of national 4x100m members as many as 6 of them at the same time but they don't look as athetic as those we saw at the Asian Games.

Thanks for the link charade, these ladies are realy something else. Nongnut was from Petchaboon the most southern part of northenrn Thailand. Passorn who ran the first leg was born in Ubonratchathani, Isan. She is listed at 173cm 59kgs that is a not a small girl by any means. Neeranuch who ran the 2nd leg is an Air Force and was from Supanburi. Lapasporn who ran the 3rd leg was from Songkla in the sout which make them really unique. They were offered scholaship to go to colleges after their High Schools and now all of them possessed Master Degrees.

By the way , I think Chiang Rai province definitely is the most southern part of northern Thailand , not Petchaboon .

Growing up playing all kind of sports in cluding boxing and despite not a counch totato type, I appreciate football for it allow athletes to bring segments of other sports to exercise at different situation of the game. In late 60s-early70s there was an Asian women by the name of Shi Cheng who had broken or tied World record of 100m 100 times. She went to school in California but now is serving as a senetor in Taiwan her native land.

As for Petchaboon, trust me on this one as my family used to have sort of plantation in the province a while back. Its southern border is Lopburi which is considered northern part of central Thailand and southern border of Lopburi is Ayuttaya. There, a crash course of Thai Geography Smiley
