Looks like he has no Oil like Abramowitsch always a fluid source of money. The Bayern Manager Hoenß just said today, that he is angry if he needs to go to gas station, have increasing prices, and guys like Abramowitsch are bying playsers from his money he has to spent for gas.  Shocked ... Taxi don't have such kind of source I think Smiley

I like the way the article says that fans thought that the takeover by Thaksin would bring stability! Any City fan who welcomed him with open arms without asking any questions are deserving only of contempt. It is the duty of any right minded fooball fan to be at least suspicious and wary when a foreign investor who has shown no previous interest in your club decides to plunge a considerable amount of his wealth into the club. I want to hear what the Premier League have to say (Scudamore et al) if square-head 'does a bit of bird'.

Not a great surprise that he has apparently sold City. It was obvous it was going to happen when both he and City denied it! The UAE mob have to pass a due diligence test but if Thaksin can pass it then they should p*ss it!
I guess the City fans will be dumping their Thai flags and buying UAE ones. And so it goes on...sigh

The truth finally comes out about M*n C*ty's 8(eight) - 1 defeat at Middlesboro'.

I'm actually starting to think that fans in England don't deserve any better than dastardly foreign investors that have no interest in their clubs.

Liverpool fans march through the streets to get rid of their American owners and then welcome the next American owner - a former hedge fund manager with presumably little interest in football - as a liberating hero!

If there's one thing we learn from history then it's that we don't learn from history.

And Sven (Goran Eriksson, not Loko Wink) certainly hasn't learnt F-all.

kick them all out and implement the German 50+1 rule.

As SRS likes to quote the Guradian, here is a really nice article, even though a few months old.

To be fair, doesn't Liverpool's new owner have sporting interests too? ( Boston Red Sox?)

He'll be asking for refund after last night though, or as Vinnie says, getting out the atlas for next season. If Tranmere get promoted, they'll still have Merseyside derbies though.
