19/9 Bkk Glass (A)
22/9 Bkk Glass - League Cup 1st leg (A)
25/9 Navy Rayong (H)

13/10 Thailand v Argentina
17/10 PEA (H)

Is the correct answer. Three days before the end of the TPL season. If we're still in with a shout of winning the title there's a chance that I might get a game!

OK. Next question. It's a bit tougher this one. If Chonburi win their FA Cup quarter final match on Wednesday. When will they play the semi final?

Hmm, I fully expect FAT will eventually notice this and probably just kick Chonburi out for some misdemeanour.

Not in the slightest. It was the same source of inspiration that lead me to predict that Bkk Utd would beat PEA.

You are right Svein. We now have enough competitions to fill a year. Let end everything in October, give the players a rest during November/ December, and start to stretch the schedule than from January or beg. February onwards.

Narathiwat 0-4 Bangkok United means we should be through to the next round. The return leg to be played in 3 weeks time, unless it`s moved.

Don't be too sure - Narathiwat overturned a 1-4 deficit in the last round.Smiley

You'll all be delighted to know that I caught 3 matches listed in the above feast. I was delayed at work, and missed Gold Coast's win over Newcastle, but saw the 2nd half of Suwon v Seongnam, then switched over 20 minutes into BG v Chonburi, followed by delayed coverage of Pohang v Zobahan. An evening well spent.

The most strange thing to me is the 7:3 from Oso. They are not able to hit a net in the league, but scoring 7 goals in the League Cup.

I thought the same thing when Buriram-PEA put 10 past Kalasin last week.

Oh, and according to the ad that played 5 times during the halftime break of BG-Chonburi (and twice in the 2nd half), the League Cup will end on November 28. (It also began on August 28, which I thought was harsh on the Div 2 teams who played a round earlier).

Mrs. Wolf is generally happy as long as I'm watching at home, not in a bar. She was busy nattering with the neighbours for most of last night's marathon, then Jr. Wolf's antics kept her occupied later on.

Muang Thong are through courtesy of a 4-1 victory over Air Force tonight. The decisive goal came in injury time from Abdoul Coulibaly. That goal completed his hat trick. Air Force's consolation/possible winner came 15 mins from time and they spent the next 15 mins rolling around injured. I was happy when MTU scored just because of the actions of the opposition. I think the saying in Thai is "sum num na."

It was an exciting game to watch on the box. The moment of the game for me came one minute from the end of additional time when Christian had an open goal and he tried to walk the ball in. I don't know why he didn't just hit it, but somehow the keeper got back and blocked him while he dallied. It was really naive and I hope he learns from what could have been a costly piece of inexperience.

When is the draw for next round?

By my estimation, Christmas 2012. Wink

According to TLO the rest of the draw has already been made. It will be winner of match 1 (above) v winner of match 2. 3v4, 5v6 and 7v8.

Then 1v2 etc until the final.

Next round is to be played on 20th & 27th October. Then 3rd and 7th November for the quarter finals and 10th and 14th November for the semis, with the lowest ranked team being at home in the 1st leg each time. The final will be at Supachalasai on 21st November.

Oh great that means if we can past Chiang Rai and Honda (no foregone conclusion there) we will be facing M150 again. Three classics so far 0-0 at Nong Prue (league) 0-0 at Saraburi ( league) and 1-0 Dolphins (yaaaawn fest) in the FA Cup. Another thriller in prospect then!!!!

Buri Ram v Muang Thong in the quarters hmmmmm tasty. Battles on and off the field. The fans will be trying to out-synchronized chant each other - it will be like 'So you think you can dance crossed with Glee with a mix of West Side Story but Thai Styleee. Awesome. Get me a ticket and update my songbook!!! Somebody call Bruce Forsyth - oops wrong show.

I have heard today that the squad for the national team will get together on November 7th, and that will make new problems for the league cup, if it`s true.

But that's maybe for the Asian Games. Cause the football tournament will start on 7 November. But with no doubt, Kawin will not be with MTU Wink

I have heard today that the squad for the national team will get together on November 7th, and that will make new problems for the league cup, if it`s true.

But that's maybe for the Asian Games. Cause the football tournament will start on 7 November. But with no doubt, Kawin will not be with MTU Wink

He'll be with us contractually, if that's what you mean.

Just wanted to say that will be missed for a few matches, as he will be in China.

RE: Kawin - When's he off to Manchester? I 'd heard this was definitely happening.

He will not go. Neuer will become the new man at United. ...hopefully...
