In spite of 9 minutes (!!) of time added on, SriRacha managed a creditable away win against the league leaders.

Chonburi province could have three teams in the TPL next season Smiley

Division One - Week 26 Results

Royal Thai Navy FC   0 - 0   Royal Thai Police
Thai Honda FC    1 - 0   Royal Thai Air Force
SuphanBuri    3 - 2   Rattana Bundit FC
Mueang Thong NongJork United   5 - 2   Chanthaburi
Thai Airways    2 - 0   Khon Kaen FC
Nakhon Sawan    1 - 2   Phitsanulok
Surat Thani    2 - 0   Raj-Vithi FC
PTT FC   0 - 2   Sriracha FC

Mueang now need one more point to confirm promotion. Sriracha also seem set to go up with them, with a big fight between the Police and Navy for the final promotion spot.

It would seem that Phitsanulok, Nakhon Sawan and Raj Vithi are doomed, with one more spot left. Hope Surat Thani can pull away and fly the flag for the south.

Yes, checking the FAT website and Division One website, you are correct. It also points to them being in 3rd place with 13 wins, 9 draws and 3 defeats.

Police would appear to be in 2nd, whereas i had them in 4th.

I'm sure another amendment is for Thai Airways, I will correct the table today. It's kind of made the table that little bit tighter at the top!

****UPDATE***

I've modified it, but it appears both FAT and Division 2 Legaue website both have different outcomes again, e.g. Sriracha alternate between 2nd and 3rd, but i think its now upto date.

Although time consuming, any help would be appriacted by anybody so i can help keep information upto date and show the Thai game in a good light by giving correct factual information.

Surely, if this game was played on a weekend, then Sriracha would walk it, will it be harder getting a team together for a midweek clash?

Getting a team together won't be a problem. However, it's the fans who will miss out again! Even so, I know of a few people who will be calling in "sick" tomorrow Wink But I won't be one of them!!! Honest!!!

Should be good next year with 3 teasm in there.

I think that result would have sent Sawan shooting down to Division 2 next year.

SRS - Do yuo know any more results? I think a couple more games were played today.

Nothing so far from Air Force v Navy. Possibly postponed? There has been an awful lot of rain recently.

I think a Honda win has brought my Southern team Surat Thani into the bottom 4, i don't really want my southern neighbours dropping down a level

I'd like Surat Thani to stay up. When they played at SriRacha I spoke to their fan club - 5 lads who'd all travelled up in one car. Really nice lads and obviously very dedicated Smiley

Phitsanulok have been relegated after todays result, by my reckoning Surat Thani and Thai Honda are level on 30 points with 3 games remaining.

If both remain on same points then it goes to head to head record (or so i believe).

Good look Surat.

Phitsanulok are joined by Nakorn Sawan and Raj Vithi, on place remains.

SriRacha promoted. A very entertaining match which ended 4-2 to the home team. All credit to Pitsanalok for playing some decent stuff and making a real game of it.

Three teams from Chonburi province in the Prem next season. It'll be interesting to see what sort of crowds we get.

I'm sure that something will be laid on after the last home match (will you be coming to that game?)

I know that at least one bus load of fans will be travelling through the night to the away match at Khon Kaen on Sunday. I would have gone but they won't be back until the early hours of Monday morning and I have to be in work at 8:00am!!

I'm sure Sven (Lokomotive) will be there, actually, i think maybe he's flying there now, lucky sod!

I'm the lucky guy who comes to Thailand during AFF Suzkui cup, but no games whilst i'm in Bangkok, and then i fly back home just before King's Cup, good planning eh!

Oh well, i'm hoping for Qatar 2011 assuming we qualify!

55555 There was a time when I would have been able to cope with such a schedule but these days I'm strictly a pipe and slippers man on a Sunday evening.

Hopefully I'll be meeting up with Lokomotive on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th at Chonburi and SriRacha's respective home games.

Royal Thai Navy, Sriracha and Mueang Thong NongJork United are promoted to the Premier League for next season.

Mueang have led the first division all year, but have recently been struggling to win, mainly drawing, but should be a good solid team for next year.

Navy are a kind of yo-yo club.

Will be interesting to see how Sriracha do, joing their neighbours Chonburi and Coke-Bangpra.

Results - Week 29

225 Royal Thai Navy FC 0 - 0 SuphanBuri
226 Phitsanulok  1 - 3 Raj-Vithi FC
227 Khon Kaen FC  1 - 0 Sriracha FC
228 Chanthaburi  2 - 2 Surat Thani
229 Rattana Bundit FC  1 - 0 Nakhon Sawan
230 Royal Thai Air Force 1 - 3 Thai Airways
231 Royal Thai Police  0 - 0 Mueang Thong NongJork United
232 Thai Honda FC  2 - 1 PTT FC

Thai Honda, Thai Airways and Surat Thani battle to survive the drop next week.

Surat Thani host Rattana Bundit. Thai Honda go away to Suphanburi and Airways play host to Police

A disappointing end to SriRacha's season but a lot of regulars were missing and they'd already been promoted so we weren't too upset. I think that Lokomotive enjoyed himself. He certainly made some new friends and will possibly be the only person in Germany to own a Chantaburi match worn shirt Smiley

Well Shark, indeed I think so. It was an outstanding weekend for me. I have seen a lot fottball matches and the stuff around. But this weekend comes right after the Atl. Madrid vs Real Madrid match I had been able to watch 10 years ago. Claiming spot Nr. 2 in my Hitlist isnt bad for a TPL weekend. Smiley
Anyway, thanks again Shark for your kind hostage and my outmost respect to you. I only can tell the people, if you have the chance to meet shark, take it!!! Of course not to forget is very kind and funny wife.

Thank you for those kind words, Sven. It was great to meet you too. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, even though "our" two teams failed to win. I know that there was a great atmosphere at both matches.

I hope to see you again very soon Smiley

I read some news about a division 1 play off
Semi finals held at the end of Jan
Thai Honda Vs Raj Vithi (stadium in Bangkok)
Phitsanolouk Vs Nakhon Sawan (Pichit stadium)
a final will be played after.

Does anyone know what this is about? I am guessing that the winner will stay up in division 1 as Bangkok Bank will not take part.

...as Bangkok Bank will not take part.

How sure is that, that BKK Bank now has quit from Div 1?

That is also my understanding of the play off matches. A reprieve for one of the relegated clubs.

Yes, Lokomotive, BKK Bank are now no more. I have my place in history as I was at their last ever match. I know what we all say about company teams but it is always sad to see a club go out of business.

Was it just a case of the bank withdrawing their funding?
