because it costs less each year to make. I heard that you only spend like 1m bahts each year for it but you need to spend 5m bahts each year for a football club. Thats why our Futsal League is growing very quickly

The AFC Futsal CL is postponed to next year, but will still take place in Iran. Normaly for that Tournament Port Auth. was qualified. But I am not sure they still go there. Cause in between Chonburi was the recent Champ. From 2011 onwards the tournament will be played with only 8 instead of 10 clubs.

Pro's Cafe (LIB) 3-3 Port Authority (THA)
Quote
Esfahan: A last-second strike from Suchin Eamchalard denied Pro's Cafe their first win at the AFC Futsal Club Championship as they drew 3-3 with Port Authority of Thailand at Pirouzi Stadium on Friday.

Rabih Abou Chaaya's side twice recovered from going a goal behind before dominating the second half and thought they had won it when Khaled Takaji scored from a penalty kick in the final minute.

But the Thais secured a point when they immediately went down the other end and Suchin snatched a share of the spoils in the Group B encounter.

Port Authority drew first blood with less than a minute on the clock when Ulid Rossanakarn fired home from the left but Pro's Cafe hit back soon after when Jihad Bou Chakra rolled a free-kick into the path of Takaji and the forward rifled a shot into the top of the net.

The Thais regained their lead after 11 minutes when Madyalan Nattavut chipped the ball over Rabie Kakhi but once again the Lebanese battled back and levelled when Mahmoud Itani's shot was turned home by Ali Homsi.

Itani's tame volley went harmlessly wide after 30 minutes before Takaji's shot was put out for a corner by goalkeeper Sakchai Hamaitree.

It seemed it was only a matter of time before Pro's Cafe went ahead as player-coach Chaaya smashed an effort against the post before the woodwork again saved Port Authority with less than five minutes remaining when Takaji's instinctive strike hit the outside of the upright.

Pro's Cafe were certain they had snatched all three points with 20 seconds left on the clock when Takaji drilled home a penalty kick but Port Authority equalised straight from the restart through Suchin .

Looking forward to see the Bluewaves there next year.

Yes, I read it. but I have no clue what the AFC was updating in the afternoon. PAT will have to play now vs Foolad Sepahan from Iran. I think it is the strongest side in the tournament. Sad

Foolad Mahan (IRN) 5-3 Port Authority (THA)
Quote
Esfahan: Foolad Mahan Sepahan secured their place in the final of the inaugural AFC Futsal Club Championship after beating Port Authority of Thailand 5-3 at Pirouzi Stadium on Thursday.

It was the closest match yet for the tournament hosts who were not at their best throughout against a defensive Thai side that gave all they had but eventually ran out of steam towards the end.

Foolad had been the first to concede in two of their three previous games and did so again against Port Authority as a harmless shot by Thai skipper Santanaprasit Tanakorn after 30 seconds was put inside his own net by Mohammad Keshavarz.

But the hosts responded less than a minute later when Vahid Shamsaee drove a shot into the roof of the net before the 36-year-old made it look easy when he put his side ahead soon after, hitting an effort from the left that had goalkeeper Sakchai Hamaitree rooted to the spot.

Shamsaee then rattled the woodwork as the hosts looked to put some distance between themselves and the Thais but instead it was Port Authority who equalised seconds before half time when Suchin Eamchalard's shot from a corner was deflected beyond goalkeeper Mostafa Nazari.

The Thais then became the first side at the tournament to put three goals past Foolad as Warin Romanee struck seconds after the restart to give his side the lead.

It did not last long, however, as Shamsaee powered home a free-kick almost immediately after before two quick goals from Mohammad Hashemzadeh and Ali Hassan Zadeh made the win safe for Foolad .
