Where did TTM play when they won the league in 2005? I know the Thai Tobacco Monopoly is situated near Sukhumvit soi 4. Just wondering which stadium they used.

They played all over the country. This was the season when the TPL matches were played in different towns and cities every weekend in a travelling roadshow. Usually two matches on a Saturday followed by two more on the Sunday.

They actually won the league at Supachalasai when they beat Bkk Bank 3-0.

Rose Asia does not sell anything so far as I am aware. And they will get renamed by the way.

To what? Already 2 names in 2 years, 2 bottom place finishes in 2 years and played in 2 different leagues in 2 years. I see all the 3's coming around!

Is a pity you can't read my German board. Wink

Thanyaburi United should be the new name. Everything wil be unvailed on 11 December on a press conference.

Ah, dropping the Rose Asia part eh. Do you know why they were called Rose Asia to begin with? Where did this orignate from?

No clue, Dru.

If I've read this correctly, they are also going to sign 5 K-League players (presumably from Seoul) to play for TTM-Phichit in 2011.

I have my doubts about this. Seoul FC have just come 1st in the K-League league section, and regardless of what happens in the playoffs, will be in the Asian Champions' League next season**. I can't see too many players, even fringe players, wanting to give that up in order to play in Phichit.

**(I'm basing this on last season's allocation of Korean ACL spots)

I think it's something to do with an airline or travel company.

I'm with you, I can't see any player with K.League experience wanting to opt for a Thai adventure unless these players were over the hill or are signed on for Seoul but haven't made the grade yet.

TTM Phichit have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (Thanks SRS Smiley) with AFC Champions' League winners Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma (I don't whether this is instead of or in addition to the one I mentioned with Seoul FC).

They have also signed two Korean players: A goalkeeper from Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i and a forward from Incheon United.
