That's right !  This information was confirmed on the Facebook page of thai-fussball.de website .

Dudu's gone??... That's a big loss. He is a very good player.

I've been busy the last few days, and not been following the news. What 4 Leicester players?

On another note, the first shipment of 1000 PEA shirts at the club shop sold out in 2 hours back in mid-Jan. Must be all those Chinese and farang fans Wink

Interesting turn of phrase there, rossi.

"dropped" to Buriram FC.  (Not 'sold', 'transferred' or 'loaned')

Perhaps you, unlike others here, perceive what is troubling about the situation in Buriram.

It just goes to show how popular BURIRAM PEA are.

But it goes against the common fallacy that Buriram folk are too poor to pay their own way, if the club feels they can afford a new shirt each season, and indeed, the shirts fly off the shelves like that.

can you translate this post.?

Loosely translated, it warns rossi or unnamed others about coming on this forum and starting fights/causing trouble. The purpose of the forum is friendship/friendly discussion between people who like Thai football. If you have a problem, the webmaster can be contacted at the email address above.

The second paragraph says he/she doesn't come on here very often, and and therefore doesn't know the full story. Likewise, he/she doesn't have time to read all the posts to decide who is right or wrong. However, if he/she sees posts breaking the rules he/she will ban the IP addresses of those concerned from here and thailandsusu.com. Hopefully, this warning will lead to a return to peace, love and fluffy animals on this board (that last sentence is a very broad translation;))

On a personal note, I find it interesting that it is a thread regarding PEA that has been started in defiance of the authority of administration and the board rules. One is reminded of the old saying about dogs and their owners resembling each other.

I am somewhat surprised that you believed a Newbie poster Who in his own words has never seen Buriram PEA play that a player who is not well known has been dropped to Buriram FC.
The truth is he has been transfered(www.thai-fussball.com) has the transfer on his list.

Also, if you read the post from the global admin, it mentions people re-registering under different names after causing trouble the first time.

Again with the misdirection, binnsy.

I have no doubt Douglas has been officially transferred. I just found the use of the term 'dropped' interesting. I've never before seen it used when referring to a player moving from one club to another.

If you've read my posts in the past, you know what my problem with this point is, and you (and rossi, and jimbo, and other pro-PEA persona) have so far failed to produce a counter-argument.

Regarding rossi, for a 'newbie' he seems to have fallen in love with all things Buriram awfully fast, so much so that he's moving there for at least a month, sight unseen. Forgive me if I've been equally hasty in classing him as a PEA fan, but PEA seems to be the only topic (besides karma) that he's interested in.

One club, two teams

They are separate teams in one Town with different owners The Husband owns Buriram PEA and his Wife owns Buriram FC. There is the link.
I do not think that it is any more than that and of course if Buriram PEA are going to be looking to Transfer/Loan players it makes sense that Buriram FC would be the first choice if the player agrees.Dudu did not agree so he left and Douglas agreed and he was Transfered from Buriram PEA to Buriram FC.

EXAMPLE.
MuangThong have some players who may not be ready for there First team so they decide to let them go out on  a seasons loan where better to send them than Phuket where they can gain match practice at a decent level,If however there was a team on MuangThongs doorstep who could provide the same level as Phuket do you honestly think that those players would still be loaned to Phuket.
I hope this goes some way to answering you question.

I don't speak for him but I think his "problem" is the same as it is for most people here. If someone was banned it was for a good reason, and they should respect the wishes of the group admin rather than trying to lie their way back in. I think most normal people would have a problem with that, too. Your post is an example of why this board that used to be friendly, enjoyable and informative has dropped so low.

One more thing - after so many posts from so many users (although the global mod believes several are the same person) Binnsy is the only PEA fan on this board who has ever given us the slightest bit of news or insight of his team.

Merely trying to provoke debate. A few PEA fans have come on here to defend 'their' club, and IMHO, have failed to do so, preferring to resort to tangential issues or insults.

I'm sure that in the end, we'd probably still disagree, but it would be nice to get the views from the other side. Being told I'm envious, or that I know nothing about Buriram because I live in Bangkok or Pattaya, or that Newin and Karuna are great people, does nothing to tell me why a PEA fan thinks that things I believe are wrong, are right.

binnsy's last post is an example of what I'm after. Now excuse me while I go and pick at the holes in his argument Cheesy

What about Newin sitting of the bench of BFC, the sharing of coaching staff (Attapol in particular), Karuna leading the cheering section of PEA, the re-arranging of fixtures? Personally, I think the link crosses an ethical line when you consider that both clubs play in the same pyramid.

How does it make sense? Why aren't the players (who, let's face it, were right up there with the best at PEA) going to clubs at a similar level?

Agreed. Although Greg has pointed out the other Nonthaburi side, and I know that over half Division 1 is closer to MTU than Phuket, I realise you're making a point about the MTU-Phuket relationship. Let me make it clear that I don't like these club "agreements/relationships" that are springing up all over the place in Thailand, when the clubs concerned are playing in the same pyramid, not just in Buriram. (I've posted to this effect before).

What does intrigue me is the number of players, especially last season. I'm surprised so many players would prefer RL football (7 last season) and Div 1 to trying to find another TPL club. Perhaps it's the Buriram lifestyle?

Yes he sits on the bench I do not see this as a problem as the TFA allow this happen and as you have noticed it then he must have been seen by the TFA also.

The sharing of coaching staff I can only asume that this also is permitted by the TFA.As you have noticed it then he must have also been seen by the TFA also.

Cheer leading Well I think thats a good way of knowing where your wife is also its a lot cheaper than letting her lose with your credit card in some shopping mall.:-)

Nothing to do with the Buriram lifestyle at all.
It may well have something to do with the wages that they are paid I would rather pick up a decent wage and play in a lower league. Which must be the case with Douglas for the season.and I think you would also take the money?.
The TFA rules must have a limit on the number of players who a club can take on loan at anyone time during the season.I can only assume that it is 7.

If those do not answer your concerns I can only suggest that you either CONTACT the FAT or the TPL.

I did no know this but then I can only think that it may have something to do with the amount of money Phuket pays to take the players on loan, maybe the two local sides cannot afford there wages?.

I didn't want to think about this forum in a negative way.But now you've mentioned it jimbo I'm having my doubts.

After the opening games on Saturday I'll be deciding which team to be supporting. At the mo it's between Sisaget,Thai Port and P.E.A.

                                                    Huh?

I think it will be a difficult game.But I predict  2-4 .
I am planning to go along and have a look. If any of the Buriram guys are coming to town can you let me know where your going to be before the game and if I can possibly meet up with you?

I've sent a P.M. to Binnsy but not yet got a reply. Maybe he's away at the moment.Jimbo, maybe you could let me know.

Thanks to all the P.E.A. fans for a great day on Sat.I'm off the fence.Such a friendly bunch of people. They love thier football as much as anyone.Good luck for the season. It was good to meet the farang contingent. Thanks for the info on the club.

What made me laugh was the amount of B.E.C. fans wearing 'I Love B.K. ' Do you think that they were probably payed to attend? After all the negative jibes about P.E.A. fans being payed to attend this seems a little two faced.

P.S. Where did Binnsy dissapear to?

For what it is worth here is my take on Saturdays game at BEC TERO.I was happy to come away with the 3 points in the end but it should never have been that close our keeper could have got a deck chair out for the first half as he had very little to do.Buriram PEA were on the attack from the first minute and only some decent saves from the home sides keeper kept them US at bay until the 30th minute when SUCHAO made the break through we should have added more  but some poor finishing saw the score remain at 0-1 at halftime.
The referee was letting some heavy tackles by both sides go unpunished during the first half.
3 Minutes into the second half and SARIF added a second on his debut for Buriram PEA with a clever chip over the keeper after some good work by Acheampong. The home sides fans had something to cheer about with 7 minutes left they pulled a goal back when from a corner to the far post was headed out only as far as TEERATAP who sent a cracking 25 yard volley into the net .This seemed to give the home side some believe that they might be able to pinch a point as they threw everyone in search of another goal but it was Buriram PEA who had a clear penalty turned down when Acheampong raced through onto goal push the ball passed the Tero keeper only to be pulled down but the referee some how gave a goalkick .Then came the final whistle. On chances I think that if Buriram PEA had won 5-2 it would have been a fair result.
I think that BEC TERO will win more games this season then they will lose.

The BEC TERO fans looked smart in there T-Shirts

muang thong  code of conduct

1.9 We will not use team or club websites as a forum for personal attacks on other teams or players as this kind of behaviour can cause negative consequences causing rifts between clubs and fans.

seems like some are not aware of this.

I  can only guess that they do not include this website

I went to the pea game last weekend. Not a very good game Police came to defend and hope for a break and took the chance when it arrived.A big crowd turned up even though the price for tickets had gone up i was told by some of the supporters. The supporters seemed to enjoy themselves even though the result did not turnout as they expected.Good result for Muang Thong during the week .Maybe the next game i will go to will be Muang Thong.v ARMY
