Maybe they fail on another aspect such as using a chalk board and not electronic or only have 1 toilet instead of 2.
Reading though the manual, i really don't believe any nation accept Japan would fullfil the criteria.
Maybe it's just easier for Thai clubs to use someone else's stadium so then then dont get blame
I don't think so. South Korea too, cause of the new stadiums from WC 2002. Singapore too (S.Armed Forces, played there game in a small 6.000 Stadium during this years AFC CL) , as well as Australia. No clue about the Viets.

This isn't pie in the sky- we're only three wins away from qualifying for the AFC Cup!
In the best case even only two. Considering that other finalist is CFC and they had finished 1st or 2nd in the league, or even winning the AFC Cup.

Shark will show bite in second-leg vows confident Kiatisuk BINH DUONG - Chonburi coach Kiatisuk Senamuang insists his side still have every chance of progressing to the last four of the AFC Cup as they prepare for a tricky second-leg quarter-final encounter at Binh Duong.
Chonburi could only draw 2-2 with the Vietnamese side in the first-leg in Bangkok meaning they need to gain a higher scoring draw or victory at Binh Duong Stadium if they are to reach the semi-finals.
Kiatisuk will be hoping for an improved performance from his band of Thai internationals after the likes of Suree Sukha, Arthit Sunthornphit, Natthaphong Samana and Kiatprawut Saiwaeo produced lethargic displays in the first encounter between the two sides.
The Thai side head into the game on the back of a morale-boosting 2-1 victory Nakhon Pathom which keeps them in the hunt for their domestic league title and Kiatisuk believes his players will continue their recent good form into Wednesday’s game.
“We still have 90 more minutes ahead,” said the former Thai international. “So at the very least we are still able to get back what we have dropped on our home soil in first leg match.
“I believe my players will be in good confidence for the game and will provide a tough challenge for Binh Duong.”
Chonburi will undoubtedly be boosted by the news that Binh Duong are without first-choice goalkeeper Nguyen The Anh as well as key midfielder Tran Truong Giang due to injury.
Veteran goalkeeper Tran Minh Quang comes into the side while former Vietnam international Nguyen Huu Thang will replace Truong Giang.
If the match ends goalless or 1-1 then it will be enough to send the hosts through but coach Mai Duc Chung has stressed the need for an aggressive approach and warned his players against complacency.
“Binh Duong hold the key to decide the match,” he said.
“However, we must not kid ourselves by thinking it will be an easy match. Chonburi will be a much more different opponent compared with how they were in Bangkok. They will fight aggressively as they have their backs against the wall.”
Duc Chung is particularly wary of former Stockport forward Michael Byrne, who was Chonburi’s most dangerous player in the first leg.
“We should have many solutions to control Michael Byrne, who gave us many problems in the first leg,” he added.
 Luckyclover for Chonburi !

Btw, regarding the CFC logo above, used by the AFC, it's nice to see how the AFC is praising my work. Cause I am pretty much sure that they got the logo from the wiki. And the one which is there was made by myself last year as vector graphic. And I am pretty much sure that SRS easy can see the difference in the original CFC logo and the one I did and used by the AFC. SRS, are you able to identify the mistake I did? ..and of course all my best wishes for the team tomorrow. I hope the game will not be affected by the coming taifun. Which will probably also hit Northeast of Thailand.

Not at all , Shark ! What a dirty match ! The stadium looks like a swamp . : Share the sorrow with Chonburi but their foreign players are not so good as Bình Dương's . I think so . Binh Duong (VIE) 2-0 Chonburi (THA). Agg 4-2 BINH DUONG - Binh Duong stunned Thailand's Chonburi as second half goals from foreign imports Philani and Eduardo Gaston Molina send the Vietnamese side into the semi-finals of the AFC Cup after winning Wednesday's second leg 2-0 to advance 4-2 on aggregate.
South African striker Philani broke the deadlock just before the hour mark before Argentine striker Molina sealed the win with four minutes remaining as Binh Duong became the first Vietnamese side to reach the last four of a continental competition.
In heavy rain at Binh Duong Stadium which slowed the pace of the game in the first half, the home side created the first chance after 12 minutes as Molina sent Nguyen Vu Phong free, but he failed to convert from a promising position.
The scoring chances continued to flow for the home side as Philani headed wide from Vu Phong's inviting cross despite being unmarked six minutes before the break.
Chonburi struggled to deal with the conditions in the opening 45 minutes and despite showing willingness, were unable to create goal scoring threat.
After rain stopped at the start of the second half, the home side finally took the lead against the run of play following an encouraging start from Chonburi.
Nguyen Huu Thang led a swift 57th minute counterattack which led to Molina expertly finding Philani and this time he made no mistake with a calm finish.
Chonburi responded after falling behind and began to threaten but despite the best efforts of captain Pipob On-mo and Thailand's Arthit Sunthornpit, the visitors failed to create a clear-cut opportunity.
And with four minutes remaining, Molina blasted home an unstoppable left-footed free-kick to seal the historic win for Binh Duong.

Al Kuwait won through to the final tonight, of which they will host.
Look like they will be joined by Al Karama of Syria (currentyl leady Chonburis conquers Binh Duong)
A West Asian winner again. When will someone from the East break it?

Al Karamah (SYR) 3-0 Binh Duong (VIE). Agg 4-2.
Mohamad Al Hamwi scored a hat-trick to steer Syria league champions Al Karamah into the final of the AFC Cup as they defeated Binh Duong 3-0 at Khaled Ibn Al Waleed stadium on Wednesday.
Al Hamwi opened the scoring after 18 minutes before adding his second 10 minutes before the break and then completing his hat-trick in the 59th minute to secure a 4-2 win on aggregate for Al Karamah and set-up a clash with Kuwait Sports Club in the final.
The hosts showed their attacking intentions right from the start and nearly opened the scoring after only three minutes when Aattef Jenniat passed for Ahmad Al Omair, who struck an effort narrowly wide of the post.
But their early dominance paid dividends in the 18th minute when Al Hamwi latched onto a pass from Fahd Aodi before breaking into the area from the right and striking a rasping drive into the far left corner of the goal and send the home fans into raptures.
That brought Binh Duong to life and the Vietnamese side began to get into the game and had their best chance after 32 minutes when Nguyen Vu Phong's effort from edge of the area was just wide.
But Al Hamwi scored his side's second after 35 minutes when he hit a first-time volley from Richard Bohomo's headed pass beyond Nguyen The Anh.
Binh Duong should have pulled a goal back shortly before the break when South African striker Philani struck a good effort goalwards but Al Karamah goalkeeper Mosab Balhous was well placed to make the save.
The visitors pressed after the break but failed to create any notable chances while Al Karamah were quick on the counter and it was from one such attack that they added a third goal just before the hour mark.
Ahmad Al Omair took the ball down the right flank before sending across to the unmarked Al Hamwi, who applied the simple finish to complete his hat-trick.
Binh Duong went all-out attack in the remaining minutes and almost scored after 78 minutes when Chau Phong Hoa's powerful shot was parried away by Mosab Balhous for a corner.
The Vietnamese side had another late chance but Vu Phong's effort sailed over the crossbar .
I vote for Al Karamah will win AFC CUP 2009 !

What was this all about?
According to persianleague.com, Thailand was one of the association fined by FIFA. The reported elledged that the coach of Thailand's club refuse to take part in post-game conference.
PTV - The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has handed out fines of up to $7,000 to several national football federations, including Iran's, for the misbehavior of fans, players or managers.
The Iranian Football Federation (IFF) was fined $3000 for throwing bottles by Persepolis fans in the match against Bunyodkor, ILNA news agency reported on Monday.
The reports said the IFF was fined because AFC regulations hold national football federations responsible for security at stadiums.
Persepolis lost its AFC Champions League match to Bunyodkor in May.
Knocking out Iran's last remaining team from the competitions allowed Bunyodkor to advance to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Uzbekistan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal and Thailand also saw their football federations fined based on decisions made during a September 29 AFC meeting.
The heaviest fine went out to Nepal's Football Association for stone throwing by fans at a match between Nepal and Kyrgyzstan during the AFC Challenge Cup Qualifiers.
Among the countries mentioned Thailand and Uzbekistan received the lowest fines — $1000 each.
Thailand was fined after a coach refused to take part in a post-match press conference and AFC decided to penalize Uzbekistan after spectators shone laser beams at the eyes of the opposing team's players.
AFC's penalties did not only go out to federations. The Saudi teams, Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad, also received fines.
Several players and coaches from other countries were also fined and\or suspended.

KUWAIT SC ARE AFC CUP CHAMPIONS KUWAIT CITY – Ismail Al Ajmi's stoppage-time header sealed a dramatic AFC Cup triumph for Kuwait Sports Club (KSC) following a 2-1 victory over Al Karamah.
The hosts were gifted the lead with quarter of an hour gone at Kuwait SC Stadium courtesy of some terrible goalkeeping from Mosab Balhous as the Al Karamah custodian inexplicably palmed the ball into his own net under no pressure whatsoever.
Ala'a Al Shbli equalised with nine minutes to go when he escaped his marker to deftly flick home Aattef Jenniat's deep ball from just a few yards out.
However there was further drama to come when, deep into stoppage time, Walied Ali surged down the right into the box before clipping in a cross from near the byline that Al Ajmi, pictured celebrating the winner, managed to glance into the far corner and send the home fans delirious with delight.
Al Karamah fashioned the first opening of the game when Jenniat forced KSC keeper Musab Al Kandari into a save with a long-range effort.
The hosts threatened one minute later when Nasser Mobarak fired over from inside the box and came even closer to breaking the deadlock in the sixth minute when Al Ajmi thundered a header against the bar from Husain Hakem's corner.
KSC eventually took the lead after 15 minutes in unexpected fashion. Hakem's free-kick from the left was heading straight down Balhous' throat but instead of completing a rudimentary catch, the Al Karamah keeper somehow palmed the ball into his own goal.
The Kuwaitis maintained their advantage until the interval but Al Karamah came close to levelling in the 56th minute when Moroccan midfielder Yazid Kaissi's shot from outside the area rose over the bar.
Three minutes later, striker Mohamad Al Hamwi forged into the area from the left but his shot was saved by Al Kandari from close range before the KSC keeper pushed away Ahmad Al Omari's powerful strike and then pounced on the loose ball ahead of the lurking Al Hamwi.
Al Kandari denied the same player again in the 78th minute before he was finally beaten three minutes later when his defenders completely lost the run of Al Shbli, who applied the finishing touch to Jenniat's deep ball from the left from close range.
Ali's powerful free-kick brought a good save out of Balhous but with extra-time looming, KSC snatched the trophy with the last attack of the game.
Ali raced down the right and his centre was met by Al Ajmi, who out-jumped two defenders to head home from just inside the six-yard box to the delight of the home crowd.
KSC defender Samer Al Martah was dismissed in the final seconds after picking up his second yellow card but it did not matter as the hosts lifted the AFC Cup amid wild celebrations.

To be honest, I much prefer cup games to be one off matches. I can understand why intercontinental ties are played over two legs but a cup competition should be a straight knockout in my opinion. Much more fun. Hereford v Newcastle Wrexham v Arsenal Sutton v Coventry Halifax v M*n C*ty Everton v Oldham

Da Nang overcome Thai Port in a thriller BANGKOK: Vietnamese champions Da Nang fought back from a goal down to out-gun home side Thai Port FC 3-2 in their AFC Cup Group H opener at the Supachalasai Stadium in Bangkok on Wednesday.
Thai Port took the lead through Jirawat Makkharom, but Da Nang striker Merlo Sebastian Gaston replied soon after.
Striker Nicholas Hernandez then made it 2-1 to Da Nang by lobbing Thai Port FC custodian Pattarakorn Tanganurat and Phan Thanh Hung claimed the third for the visitors when he was put clean through and with just the goalkeeper to beat, coolly slotted home.
Substitute Pitipong Kuldilok pulled one back for the home side in the second minute of added time but it proved too little, too late.
The game was played out in a near-empty stadium with Thai Port fans barred from attending the game by the Football Association of Thailand after ugly scenes during the Kor Royal Cup game against Muangthong United on Saturday.
Nevertheless, the home side opened the scoring in the 19th minute, when captain Sarayoot headed a cross against the post and Jirawat was on hand to sweep the rebound past Da Nang goalkeeper D. Cuong and into the net.
Da Nang nearly fashioned an immediate response when Argentinian striker Hernandez latched on to a through ball and unleashed a volley that was heading towards the corner but Thai Port FC goalkeeper Pattarakorn did well to tip the shot around his post.
The Vietnamese champions drew level in the 29th minute when Gaston struck a powerful drive from outside the area that left Pattarakorn helpless.
Da Nang pressed hard after the break and took the lead in the 57th minute when Hernandez ran onto a long, lofted through ball. The Thai Port goalkeeper decide to come but was caught in no man's land and Hernandez calmly chipped the stopper.
The hosts looked to hit back but the Da Nang defence stood firm and scored a third when striker Gaston picked up the ball in the middle third of the pitch and played in Thanh Hung, who slid the ball underneath Pattarakorn.
Thai Port pulled one back in the second minute of added time when substitute Pitipong headed into the top corner but it could not prevent an opening defeat for the home side .

Wattana : Thai Port’s Tai Po plan perfected Hong Kong: Coach Wattana Phochanakong was delighted that Thai Port managed to execute his pre-match plans to secure the first win of their AFC Cup campaign with a 1-0 triumph over Tai Po in Group H on Wednesday.
The visitors dominated the first-half at Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground and after heading against the crossbar midway through the opening period, Pitipong Kuldilok rounded off a quick counter attack three minutes after the restart with a superb chip.
“I am very happy as we played as we planned and I am delighted the players followed the game plan,” said Wattana.
“Tai Po is a strong team, but we prepared a lot and we are happy it worked out.
“We are happy with the way we played in attack. We knew Tai Po would play with a compact defence and we knew we would have to create a lot of chances and we are happy it worked out as we planned.”
Thai Port did ride their luck just before the break as goalkeeper Pattarakorn Tanganurat was called into action for the only time in the contest to superbly turn away To Hon To’s header after Sze Kin Wai had wasted an earlier glorious chance for Tai Po.
With Vietnam’s Da Nang following up their opening day comeback win over Thai Port with a 3-2 triumph over Singapore’s Geylang United, Wattana’s side sit three points adrift of the early pacesetters in second place.
“In the last game we had a lead and suddenly we lost concentration and the opponent was able to score from out mistakes,” added Wattana.
“There were still mistakes in this game and we need to work on this.”
Despite making a winless start to their maiden AFC Cup campaign after drawing with Geylang last month, Tai Po coach Andy Cheung has not given up hope of reaching the knockout stage.
Cheung was unhappy Tai Po were not awarded a free-kick in the build up to Thai Port’s 48th minute goal, but knows the Hong Kong FA Cup winners have a lot to learn at this level.
“I accept the performance of our team and I will now look to prepare the team for the next game in the local league and hope we can achieve good results,” he said.
“It was a tough game. It is the first time we have played a team from Thailand. I am not happy because we lost, but this is Tai Po’s first time playing in the AFC Cup and it offers the players chances to get experience playing different styles.
“There is a big difference between Singapore and Thailand so it can help them improve.”

Thai Port 2-2 Geylang United Bangkok: Costly defensive errors saw Thai Port relinquish a two-goal lead as the hosts were held to a 2-2 draw by Geylang United in Group H of the AFC Cup at the Supachalasai Stadium on Wednesday.
Thai Port established a healthy cushion with goals in the first-half from Jirawat Makkharom and Sompong Soleb but Geylang fought back thanks to an own goal from Thai Port defender Moudourou Swa Moise before Peter Tomko equalized for the visiting side just after the break.
To compound the hosts' misery, Ekkachai Samre was then sent off in the last minute of added time for dissent.
Thai Port forward Sompong Soleb wasted a good opportunity in the 11th minute when he blasted over from the left side after being put through following good build-up play from the hosts.
Geylang's Tomko then saw a well-struck free-kick from 30 yards claimed by Thai Port goalkeeper Pattarakorn Tanganurat before the home side took the lead in the 21st minute when midfielder Jirawat was first to a set piece from the left side and headed past goalkeeper Toh Guo'an.
Thai Port added a second just six minutes later when forward Sompong redirected a driven cross at the far post past the helpless Toh.
Thai Port striker Sarayoot managed to beat two Geylang players outside the box in the 40th minute but sent his shot over the cross bar.
And the visitors then grabbed a lifeline in the 44th minute thanks to a costly defensive lapse by the home team.
Moise attempted to head a long clearance back to his goalkeeper but instead the Cameroonian defender, who had stints in Singapore with Paya Lebar Punggol and the Young Lions, could only succeed in nodding it over Pattarkorn's head and into the empty goal.
Worse was to follow as the Eagles levelled in the 48th minute when Tomko ghosted between two Thai Port defenders and latched onto a bouncing ball before lobbing the keeper.
Tomko nearly doubled his tally in the 58th minute but he sent a glancing header just past the far post.
Thai Port came close to scoring a third in the 70th minute but Toh did well to tip substitute Ekkachai's shot past his far post before the Thai Port forward was then shown a red card in stoppage-time for having too much to say for himself to compound a disappointing night for the Thai side .Suicide !

Syria and Kuwait have confirmed that they will play in the 2010 WAFF Championship in September/October.
Expect Al Karama and Al Qadsia to have depleted squads for the AFC Cup games.

The AFC Cup final will be played at one of the following:
Da Nang (Vietnam)
Al Riffa (Bahrain)
Al Qadsia (Kuwait)
Thai Port (Thailand)
These four teams are in the same half of the draw, so whoever goes furthest gets the final.

Bump. Just a reminder that MTU and Port play their quarterfinals tomorrow (14th) and next week (21st). Thai Port play their home leg at Supachalasai tomorrow against Al Qadsia (Kuwait). MTU are away to Al Karamah (Syria), but play at Yamaha in next week's 2nd leg .
It's been a while since the last round, so here's a recap of the two team's results so far.
Thai Port: Group Stage
v SHB Da Nang (Vietnam) 2-3 (H), 0-0 (A) v Woo Foo Tai Bo (Hong Kong) 1-0 (A), 2-0 (H) v Geylang United (Singapore) 2-2 (H), 1-0 (A)
P6 W3 D2 L1 F8 A5 Pts 11 (2nd in Group behind Da Nang)
Round of 16: v Sriwijaya (Indonesia) 4-1 (A)
Muang Thong United: Group Stage
v South China (Hong Kong) 0-0 (A), 0-1 (H) v VB (Maldives) 3-1 (H), 3-2 (A) v Persiwa (Indonesia) 4-1 (H), 2-2 (A)
P6 W3 D2 L1 F12 A7 Pts 11 (2nd in Group behind South China)
Round of 16: v Al Rayyan (Qatar) 1-1, [4-2 on penalties] (A)
A couple of interesting points - Port have yet to win a Supachalasai this campaign (they beat Woo Foo Tai Bo in Phuket), and MTU's leading scorer in this competition, Soumahoro Yaya (4 goals) has transferred to Belgian club KAA Ghent.

Al Karamah 1-0 Muangthong United A second-half goal from striker Mohamad Al Zino steered Syria's Al Karamah to a narrow 1-0 win over Muangthong United of Thailand in the first leg of their AFC Cup quarter-final match at Khaled Ibn Al Waleed Stadium on Tuesday.
Al Zino scored the winner four minutes after the hour mark to give his side the edge ahead of the second-leg encounter in Thailand next week.
The hosts were dominant right from the kick off and they created their first chance after only seven minutes when Al Zino headed just wide of the left upright.
Al Karamah continued to enjoy the lion’s share of possession and came within inches of opening the scoring after 14 minutes when young midfielder Mahmoud Al Mawas saw his powerful shot hit the crossbar.
The large home crowd were celebrating soon after when Mohamad Al Hamwi knocked a loose ball into the net but the goal was ruled out for offside much to the disappointment of the fans.
Muangthong were struggling to match their opponents but finally created their first chance of the game in the 26th minute as Datsakorn Thonglao's rasping effort from distance flew harmlessly over the crossbar.
Al Karamah maintained their dominance after that brief scare and produced another chance three minutes later when Al Zino hit a shot from the edge of the area but the ball went wide.
That proved to be the last chance for either side before the break but the home side picked up from where they left off in the second period and were dominating midfield with Abdulrazak Al Husein, Alaa Al Shbli and Tamer Haj Mohamad proving particularly impressive.
Al Karamah's pressure finally told in the 64th minute when Brazilian defender Fabio Santos headed the ball from a free kick into the path of Al Zino whose powerful close-range shot hit the left upright before nestling in the back of the net.
That strike spurred Al Karamah into searching for another goal that would all but put the encounter beyond their opponents but their best chance did not arrive until the 86th minute when Al Hamwi's shot from distance hit the post.
