Chula-Sinthan have a rich history, but are currently struggling after falling on hard times at the end of the 1990's. Check the link for more information about them http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chula-Sinthana_FCHoepfully they will survive the drop as they give the league a team with history, just like the Royal Thai Air Force, whom i hope get promoted to the Premier League this year.

Hmmm... didn't know that their Aristocratic and Ultra-conservative stand extended to football, too.

They will be challenging for the title next season. Zico has done a fantastic job since he took over.

I agree with you, even only notice that from far away. I think it's good for the competition in the TPL. But I worry about less fan support in numbers. But maybe than, if Zico is still doing a good job, he can recommand himself for the Job as National coach. Just in case Reid might fail.

I don't know about the numbers but they certainly have some of the best looking fans in the league http://www.chulafc.com/cuhome.htm

Hi everyone,
I'm planning to do my first away game in a couple of weeks, the game in question being Chula United v Muanthong United'.
What is the system for away fans in the TPL? Is it the same as home, we have our own end we need to sit in?
Also, can anyone help me pinpoint the Chula stadium? Is it near the Chula Bookstore?
Thanks in advance, Greg

The fans of each team tend to group together and most grounds do have designated entrances for home and away fans. It's certainly not as strict as it is in the UK. However, FAT have recently instructed clubs to segregate fans and have a stretch of open terrace between the main groups of supporters. They introduced this for the first time at Chonburi last weekend. But within a few minutes the "no mans land" had filled up with home fans. As most (if not all grounds) have only one covered stand, this is where most people choose to sit/stand, especially for afternoon kick offs. And, as you're going to watch MTUFC, make sure that you know all the dance moves before you turn up at the stadium. There must be a manual somewhere.

Chula Stadium very easy to go. It is in the back of MBK. You can ask people in the street, everybody know. The price of ticket is 50B. There are 2 enters in the stadium, 1 for home supporters (chula) and one for away supporters.

No. We wore it in a televised match against L**ds last season to raise money, and awareness, for breast cancer. I actually own one of those shirts. Marco and Nigb will tell you how cool it looks in the flesh.

Aren't they currently sporting a day-glo yellow effort?

I know this is a little late, but i had a great time attending my first TPL game.It was Chula vs TOT. Mingling with the fans on the way to the ground and the friendliness showed by all concerned was heart warming. Totally different atmosphere compared to back home ( KL). Even managed to enjoy a beer at the game, i'd get arrested if i tried this here !.I've decided to support the Chula team ( something about them reminds of KLFA), best of luck this weekend against Pattaya.Special thanks to SRS for the fixture list.

I saw the game too. To be honest they weren't exactly playing with the urgency one would expect from a team that had to win to have a chance of avoiding relegation. Particularly in the second half.

I agree, they came out strong at the beginning of the second half and got a deserved goal. After the penalty appeal was waved away they seemed to lack ideas, plus there were too many silly tackles.

Rajpracha's rubbish defence certainly helped :-) But Chula looked very slick.

I'm surprised that none of the TPL clubs have shown an interest. I thought he showed enough potential at Chonburi to be a really good coach but wasn't really given a fair crack of the whip. Good luck to him if he does get the Chula job.
