Douglas Cobo confirmed it. Butler already had the first training sessions.

giving the players down time and team building activities? Sounds like the Jurgen Klopp from England.  Cheesy

A bit more on Butler. The 44 year old played at West Ham under Harry Redknapp from 1992-94, was at West Brom 1996-98, and also played for Huddersfield Town, Southend Utd, Notts County, and Grimsby Town.

He has 10 years experience coaching in Asia. He's been at Sabah FA in Malaysia (2001-04), Singapore Armed Forces (2006-07, champions 2006), Persipa (Indonesia), and Kelantan FA (Malaysia). He spent the last year as technical advisor to Yangon United (Myanmar) beofre coming to BEC Tero. He has signed a 1-year contract. Apparently, Brian L. Marcar was interested in bringing him to Tero during his spell at Singapore Armed Forces, but in the end, Butler elected to go to Indonesia.

According to today's Football Siam, Nakhon Rachasima-BEC Tero Sasana will continue to play at Tepshadin Stadium in 2011.

Good thing Vinnie isn't interested in supporting them, because that would be a hell of a trek for home games. Wink

Why?? It seems totally pointless to change the name to Nakhon Rachasima-BEC Tero Sasana and continue to play their games in downtown Bangkok.

They must be anticipating a large following from locally based Khorat people working in Bangkok to follow them.

Also how will "Nakhon Rachasima-BEC Tero Sasana FC" fit into the "Rao ma cheer....." song? Tongue

Sorry BKK73, I was making fun of recent rumours about BEC moving north-east, and Vinnie's reaction.

BEC haven't changed their name, but they have stated they'll use the same stadium next season.

Good and bad news. I kind of wanted them to move here just to see them fall on their a*se.

You got me on that one!! Things in Thai football are that ludicrous at the moment, that I could almost believe anything you say.

According to TLO, it's U-19. The big boys are getting a rest.

We have some good young players already like Rangsan, Akkarapon or Worawoot who was still in first team last time although they don't get very much playing time.
