Roghly how long does it take to get from Muang Thong Thani to Chonburi's ground? Roughly how much would the cab cost?

You could probably do it by car in just over an hour. The new ground is situated in the north of the city about two minutes from the motorway exit.

A BOF (and it isn't me this time Wink) reminisces about our time in the Pro League and how he started supporting the club.

If I went to the Chonburi V MTU game I'd be going straight from work, finishing at 12pm, so I wouldn't have time to get the bus or train.

You can watch a video of Therdsak Chaiman scoring a penalty in last Saturday's match against Bang Phra by clicking on the link. The subsequent celebrations give you an idea of how seriously some of our lads were taking things. Wink

I'd say there were about 40/50 of them.

I'm hearing conflicting reports about the secheduled time for the MTU V Chonburi game.

The TPL website still says next week, sources inside MTU say it's been postponed until May.

OK. Certain things might be out of the hands of FAT/TPL but all this messing about is a real throwback to the bad old days. They want to present the league as a well run professional competition but (at the risk of repeating myself) I have played in better run Sunday leagues. It's beyond a joke. Sad

You just beat me to it, 66S. What a farce. I know it's a cliche but my late Grandad's favourite expression, "They couldn't run a p1ss up in a brewery!" springs to mind.

Loko, are you visiting the mighty Thunderdome/Lego Land for the Chonburi game?

A few MTU personnel went to the Chonburi V Army game Dale, some interesting feedback but of course now we will have to keep it under wraps until after May 28th. No fun!

I hopefully can buy my flight ticket mid of April, and if my boss assigns my holiday request, yes. I hope so, or at least that's my plan. May 20 - June 7 is the target. But of course there are other matches in my focus too, on gamedays different from the CFC ones.

Thanks for the info. I already was thinking about that. But I am not sure whether it is a good timing for CFC. To make such a friendly right in the middle of two big matches.

Yes NBT 11 is scheduled. There onlinestreams available for sure. But over the past two weeks, during gameday, I always experienced problems. No gameday, it works fine. Gameday, everything crashes, cause too many people jump on.

I couldn't understand P*ttaya's tactics. Apart from that brief spell after we equalised they didn't seem interested in getting forward at all. Even when they were 2-1 down there was no real urgency shown. Strange.

Agree about Baga. I think he's a little short of match practise but once he's firing on all cylinders again it'll be just like the old days. Wink

...and ludovik scored again in the early minutes. Looks like he is not able to score later in a game ;-) ...but was it really a penalty? It was diffcult to see during the live stream. But I would say Therdsak wanted the penalty.

I was close by with a good view and my first reaction was to shout for a penalty. However, I'm pretty sure that he drew on his years of experience to give the ref no option but to blow.

I don't think Ludovick touched the ball again after he scored.

Yep. He's a smashing bloke with the right attitude. Anyone who's seen him play can testify to the fact that he takes his football very seriously. However, once the game is over he's always got time to chat, whether we've won or lost, and is one of the most honest, down to earth lads you could wish to meet.

Sorry, Greg, even your lot couldn't afford him. Smiley
