EXAMPLE. MuangThong have some players who may not be ready for there First team so they decide to let them go out on a seasons loan where better to send them than Phuket where they can gain match practice at a decent level, If however there was a team on MuangThongs doorstep who could provide the same level as Phuket do you honestly think that those players would still be loaned to Phuket. I hope this goes some way to answering you question. [
But there is - Nontahburi FC (D2) Rajpracha (D1) Ah, but t_e, Raj is no longer in Nonthaburi. signed Bond, James Bond Yes but Thonburi is several hundred miles closer than Phuket!

One club, two teams
They are separate teams in one Town with different owners The Husband owns Buriram PEA and his Wife owns Buriram FC. There is the link. I do not think that it is any more than that and of course if Buriram PEA are going to be looking to Transfer/Loan players it makes sense that Buriram FC would be the first choice if the player agrees.Dudu did not agree so he left and Douglas agreed and he was Transfered from Buriram PEA to Buriram FC. Are you some kind of spy wolfman? Always trying to catch someone out. What's your problem? I don't speak for him but I think his "problem" is the same as it is for most people here. If someone was banned it was for a good reason, and they should respect the wishes of the group admin rather than trying to lie their way back in. I think most normal people would have a problem with that, too. Your post is an example of why this board that used to be friendly, enjoyable and informative has dropped so low. One more thing - after so many posts from so many users (although the global mod believes several are the same person) Binnsy is the only PEA fan on this board who has ever given us the slightest bit of news or insight of his team.

Binnsy, the link is wrong. It's thai-fussball.de
Also, if you read the post from the global admin, it mentions people re-registering under different names after causing trouble the first time.

Today I spoke to the head of security at MTU about a problem dating back to December. He actually speaks good English and explained about the security process which I think will make for an interesting interview. Stay tuned.
Who can guess which club has the most fans banned from the TD?

Is there friendly match between Chainat-MTU in 6th february? If so, any details where and when? And why Kallio didn't got in game last sunday, injury or just lack of skills or are there some limits how many foreign players can be in squad?
All answers on my blog, good man,

What might be confusing some folks is that it's "karma", as in what goes around comes around. I've applauded a couple of posts, and noticed my score too has gone up not long after. Likewise, I assume if you smite, your karma may suffer too.
[geek] I think that's coincidence. Just did a quick search and saw this: http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?topic=104.0[/geek] You have two problems with this thing: first, you have to rely on people being mature enough to use it based on the quality of people's posts - information given, logic of debate, relevance and so on - and it should be abundantly obvious that not everyone is capable of that. Secondly, it's offering people a chance to judge others on something other than the quality of their posts. Because of point one, that is not a good idea.

Oh just that I noticed Felix was on -2, and I can't imagine why anyone would want to "smite" such a happy chappy! He can't even grumble like I can :-) So I can only guess he said something to upset someone who is easily upset. Sorry Felix, I won't mention you again. Until we beat BEC Tero anyway :-)

strange arguments here sometimes. comment "everything Buriram is good" reply "in my opinion this is good, this is not... ect." rebuttal "you are a bad man"
And I can't help but notice that anyone who criticises PEA in any way has their karma suddenly go down very quickly, even Felix. I know the whole thing is pointless anyway but that's how it tells us a lot that this happens. TBH I'm surprised Charade bothered introducing the karma thing, in my humble opinion it's not something that is required for an adult discussion of football. IMHO why has this been posted on the Buriram PEA page? Looking at my karma it is minus 6 at the last count,I have not been criticising Buriram PEA. I think the reason it's been posted on the PEA page is because it involves PEA in the discussion. And I didn't say *only* the people who criticise PEA have lost this karma nonsense.

You can argue the comments were wrong or unfair (though I think there was a lot of truth in what Glenn said) but to say they were discriminatory on the basis of race I find very strange. I actually found the comments intended to be positive and help us understand the differences in culture. I hope we don't get to a point where people are scared of speaking their mind for fear of being "shouted" down.

I was surprised that Zesh Rehman started at left back. He didn't have the greatest debut but he showed signs that he could be a good acquisition. I'm sure he'll feel far more confident if he gets a run at the heart of defence.
One Muang Thong fan posted on my report and definitely wasn't impressed with him. I didn't think he was too bad. Like you, I was surprised to see him at left back, although he didn't really spend a lot of time there as he kept popping up all over the field. Good work rate, not so good positioning, but he always seemed to get back any time Chonburi countered. Like you, I think give him a few games in central defence and he'll shine. Remember he's coming from a division in England where you can basically wrestle a guy to the floor and get away with it into a league where you look at a guy the wrong way and he'll throw himself down. It will take time to adapt. I'm sure he'll be a real rock in our back line. I was far more concerned with Issoafou. He was a liability for the first half.

Very nice. Easily the best of the new shirts I've seen so far. It is excellent thought the back doesn't look so good with the CP logo looking out of place but they have to put that in with the cash they are getting from them. If it were any team apart from Buriram PEA/FC, TP or Chonburi I'd have to buy it! What's the away one like?

I was at the quaterfinal match! Was a great match.
Iam talking about a grassroots fanclub greg. Im quite sure N zone for example are grassroots but Im not sure so sure about the ultras.
But then we have to be careful about how we define "real fans" because for me it's all about caring, passion and knowledge and you couldn't take any of those away from the fans inside the stadium that night. I've seen a few games in my time and not many atmospheres have bettered that. Sorry Dale for pulling off-topic.

I dont take PEA and MTU as the prime example here... I hope for both they will become more real and I hope for some real grassroots to come up... I think BG are good candidate... they get alot of people involved every game and they dont need the club to sponsor them...
Anyone who thinks MTU fans are not 'real' obviously did not go to the AFC quarter final match. Dale, what is more important to your old guard? Getting behind the team in whatever way they see fit or basically making a statement: "Look at me! I was here before they were!"? Because sometimes I do wonder.

I think the PEA one is similar to 2010's but has a v-neck instead of a collar.
Just seen it. It looks as if they may win the best shirt IMHO for the second season running except for the out of place and tacky looking CP logo on the back. The front looks excellent though.

Ugh. I have to agree with Binnsy, the white/blue one is OK. The others are hideous IMHO. I have not seen the new PEA shirt but I would sincerely hope we can at least better Chonburi and BG in the shirt department this season. But of course, it's how the lads wearing them play that really counts.

Buriram is a very new club... Thai football is very young.
I think we should be glad about buriram.
They bring something new and fresh and its always nice to play against teams who bring large travelling support.
Buriram PEA was my best impression support wise last year at the thunderdome.
BG , Chonburi and Thai Port brought the same large following but the atmosphere was lacking.
I agree that Buriram make things interesting and the fans are noisy. But man for man, TP were far noisier and more raw. I totally disagree to say the atmosphere was lacking with any of those teams you mention, they all made a lot of noise. Chonburi quitened down after they were losing though.

i have never before come across a club with so much ambition, and yet have such a negative feedback, this can only be a result of envy in my opinion.
But then why do Chonburi and Thai Port have less negative feedback concerning the running of their respective clubs? Both of those teams won trophies last season, Buriram PEA won nothing.

Had a quick glance and noticed that two midweek rounds of fixtures have been removed from the 23rd and 30th of March.
I honestly think the fixture list is worth sweet FA (no pun intended) this season. Every fan should take it game by game.

I've no problem with Port fans going to the game, but I hope they don't turn it into another childish "Look at us" spectacle like FA Cup day.
They will though. If I were a Chonburi fan I wouldn't be too happy about it either. It looks a bit pathetic and it also makes the point that the club can't sell their own allocation to their own fans. I hope it's not a sell out as I couldn't get a ticket from total reservation.

I know Bang Khae and Thonburi look close on the map mate but in practise I'm not sure. If you can find a good bus or taxi route it probably won't be further than my house to Nonthaburi FC.

Couple of news items:
The new kits are being designed by Grand Sport and will be available before the BG game at the earliest. The club have a lot of input into the design and seem very about it.
Ronnarit is adamant that he does not intend to sell Chris or Dagno. He also says four more transfers inward are expected, some inside Thailand, some outside.

At 33 he's not going to have much pace left
It was the same to be said about Sami Hyypiä when he joined Leverkusen. But after a half season he was rated as one of the best defenders of the league. Not of it's pace, rather than he know where and when he have to be at the right place. Sorry cant put it any better than that. You mean his positioning is good. Don't worry, I wouldn't have a clue how to say it in German :-)

"a Finnish international with nearly fifty caps, a player that's played in all 4 of England's top divisions,"
I honestly wouldn't get too excited about Kallio -in his career in England he played only 12 games in 3 years - at best he was a 2nd/3rd choice left back at Sheff Utd. At 33 he's not going to have much pace left though it sounds like he's a good tackler. I think people are looking at the quality of previous MTU imports and that's why they feel they may not quite be up to last year. Only time will tell!!
I don't think that was the point though. The previous European imports at MTU consist of errr...Berkant!

Interesting replies. Thankyou.
I too think PEA will win. Chon Buri and Muang Thong don't seem to be doing much to keep up.
You don't think signing the most prolific striker of the last three seasons, Bangkok United's player of the year, Police United's player of the year and a Thai international, a Finnish international with nearly fifty caps, a player that's played in all 4 of England's top divisions, signing a deal with Athletico Madrid, signing the highest valued manufacturing deal in Thailand, laying a ten million baht new turf along with stadium renovations is enough effort then? :-) I'm not saying it's amazing, but I think it's harsh to say we're not doing much.
