BG have won another trophy this season. BG Man come in 1st place in the ultra prestigious 'TPL PLUS Mascot running challenge'. BG Man beat off all other competitors from various TPL teams with a time of 13 secs over 100 meters. Other notable times were BEC Tero's Dragon thingy 15 secs and Thai Port's Lion at 20 secs. This monumental occasion will be shown on 'TPL Plus' on channel LIVE Football PLUS - on Monday... (No idea what time but prime time presumably ) And in far less important news, Supasin Leelarit is staying on as Manager, Sathit Bensoh will be head coach and we will be looking for an assistant manager. Also the temporary (away end) stand is in the process of being turned into a permanent stand as originally planed. But would you be able to beat Chaddy? And he was jumping over hurdles! OLYPIAN HELPS CHADDY TO GLORY A wise old owl today claimed the title of fastest football club mascot in England after taking tips from one of the world's greatest athletes. Oldham Athletic mascot Chaddy The Owl - in real life, male model Kev Williams, 28 - romped home in the fourth annual Ladbrokes Mascot Grand National in Cambridge. Mr Williams finished second last year and was determined to be first at the post this time. To help with his training he logged on to a special internet fitness website set-up by Australian sprint champion Cathy Freeman. a fast running oldham fan??!!

It is very reasonable to expect that Thai football will die soon as the general public are shut out, rules are not respected and the game is no longer played on the field, but between powerful people exerting their will.
sounds like politics in many countries round the world

thais love fads and trends. be it buying stickers, tamaguchi or pagers they have lapped them up only to drop them for the latest craze.
don't count on these guys lasting the course. the FA, as ever, haven't done their homework properly and once they find out they way things are done in England ain't their way then they'll be gone leaving behind a right mess...

singapore will always be a threat if they are in the right frame of mind but its an aging team. duric is 40 and bloody fit. he's also good on the ground.
other players to watch out for are Khairul Amri and some more...

Moving the goalposts at this stage is completely ridiculous. If they want to increase the number of clubs in the TPL, then they should announce it at the START of the season. And stick to it.
happens all the time, its all part of the fun!

Bangkok United has got 23 points this season. 17 of them comes from games vs the 8 top teams, and only 6 points vs the bottom 7 teams. All our 5 wins is against the top 8 teams. We play another top 8 team, Samut Songkhram, in the last game, so we can end up on a total of 20 points and 6 wins vs the top 8 teams.
18 of our 25 goals came against top 8 teams, only 7 against bottom 7 teams.
We didn`t win any of the 10 games at Thai-Japanese Stadium this season, and we didn`t win any of the 14 games vs the teams we should have beaten. Because of that we`re playing in Divison 1 next season.
you could have saved a whole lot of time if youd just said they were crap!!

As a manager he could possible have done better in the clubs he`s been at, as his record isn`t that good, but they were not big clubs and I don`t know if he got money for the players he wanted.
interesting statement. he splashed the cash at boro. anyway can a manager only be judged by being at a big club with money to spend? i would love to see what someone like jose moaninho or red nose fergie could do at hartlepool

For better or worse, Pattaya (the city) wouldn't exist without foreigners so the xenophobic attitude there is particularly strange.
given some of the pond life pattaya attracts i think its perfectly understandable
re training pipat was surprised when he came to indo at the training here. said it was all physical, hardly any ball work unlike thailand...

The club is owned by the Bang Phra original owners ( horrible family who strut around and treat everyone, particularly the farang players like dogs- they are truly awful) and Ittipol(Tik) the mayor of Pattaya, youngest son of famed gangster Kamnan Poh (currently in jail - ?) whose elder brother owns Chonburi FC. Ittipol is a nice guy though he knows the main family resources will go to Chonburi. I think he made the old owners an offer they couldn't refuse - stories of horses heads being left on pillows cannot be confirmed. The club is used to further Ittipol's political hold on Pattaya and to give the old family some respect their behaviour /demeanour scarcely deserves.
many rich families in the west have just as many if not more skeletons in their cupboards this mob have owned chonburi province for decades and old man poh has a delightful past. knew itti back in my thai days a bit, would like to touch base with him again some time
