PEA says Newin has a lot of money so it shouldn't be a problem, but what won't be a problem? Winning games? Buying foriegn talen that won't be able to play in ACL?
2  Thaifootball / Leagues & Clubs / Re: Buriram PEA on: June 17, 2011, 05:04:01 PM
Lets hope that if you get tothe ACL , that you will show your the best, not like last time I hope.
please dont worry with a great man like newin behind the club, and all his money sure it will not be a problem.

Will he be buying the victories or buying more foriegn players than the rules will allow him to use. Remember the AFC 3+1 rule Newin.

i see nothing has been posted here on this anti BURIRAM PEA page for some time now,is that because at last you can all see that BURIRAM PEA is by far the best club in this division, and what they have achived is fantastic in such a short time.my heart and soul is with this club, this season we will win the league and maybe a cup,but wait and see what this great club will do next season
could it be a clean sweep, well we will have to wait and see.
dont you just love being a FARMER ha ha happy days. Grin

It's that kind of talk which you can understand obviously gets peoples back's up at times.

But hey, PEA formed in 1970, took them until 2008 to win something, now they will probably win something again this year, not bad, 40 years old, currently 1 winners medal.

So lets compare with lets say Chonburi, formed in 1997, 14 years old, a league and an FA Cup, not to mention Pro League title or Khor Royal Cup titles.

Can you tell me, was your heart and soul with them before 2009?
5  Thaifootball / Leagues & Clubs / Re: Buriram PEA on: June 15, 2011, 06:15:41 PM
its so great to see the best club in the league at the top
BURIRAM PEA how many points clear ha ha ha its a walk in the park.

Best clubs are normally at the top, otherwise they wouldn't be called best would they?
6  Thaifootball / Leagues & Clubs / Re: Club Relocations on: February 20, 2011, 05:20:43 PM
Binnsy, you obviously didn't read my reply, they have played all over the Eastern Seaboard and all over Bangkok, i never said they changed there name on all of them occasions, thats your inside information you've just given me.
7  Thaifootball / Leagues & Clubs / Re: Club Relocations on: February 19, 2011, 04:01:32 PM
You want to try all over Bangkok and all over the Eastern Seaboard, add them up Binnsy
8  Thaifootball / Leagues & Clubs / Re: Club Relocations on: February 18, 2011, 11:20:14 PM
This seems like an appropriate thread to list and update clubs which relocate.

TTM, Samut Sakhon to Phichit
PEA, Ayutthaya to Buriram
Rattana Bundit, Bangkok to Chiang Mai
Osotsapa, Bangkok to Saraburi

Any more? TOT?

Which team in the history of the TPL has relocated on the most occasions?

PEA, they have been all over the Eastern seaboard, Bangkok, Ayyuthaya

I take it you can supply dates and locations to back up you reply?

Yeah, how far back do you want me to go?

Don't forget Binnsy, the league use to have a theme where games where played all over the place, no one team had a home. But maybe thats before your time. Before the TPL boom when you joined.

You made the statement that PEA had relocated the most so go back as far as you can.I believe that PEA was formed in 1970.
Sounds as if other sides played all over Thailand?Maybe it was just PEA who played here there and everywhere?
As for me joining the TPL boom I joined at my first chance.

Are you finally admitting that PEA were born before 2010?

Dru, it wouldn't matter. FC will be still there.

So why don't the farang supporters of Buriram already follow them?

The PEA farang supporters tell us PEA have no history, so what happens if they win the league this year and then move, will the farang PEA fans go into a timewarp?

As for you question about why the Buriram PEA Farang support them and not Buriram FC I can only speak for myself but given the choice of watching the TPL or Div 2 of the regional league  there is no choice in my opion. You could ask why some people watch MUANGTHONG instead of NONTHABURI FC .

Interesting that your address is in Bangkok!

As for MTU, Nonthaburi, MTU were around before Nonthaburi whereas in Buriram, Buriram were around way longer than PEA Buriram. When there was only Buriram, why didn't you follow them?

Who said that i never went to The Rajaphat Uni to watch them play the likes of Roi-Et,Surin and the Korat. For your information Drury i DID

Speaking of Buriram, they play in Div1 which is a step above the RL league. Buriram when they played in the RL, also used many PEA players, so it would be like watching PEA wouldn't it?

This season they are in Division One and the amount of players who they had on loan was within the limit of FAT rules so what is the problem?.

MY address or the clubs please be a little more clearer

I didn't say it was a problem, i just pointed out that you like to watch PEA Buriram players in action, so why diodn't you watch them in action for Buriram aswell?

Who's address did you previously post? Can you be more clear on that? If it was PEA Buriram, then why do they have a Bangkok address? Relocating?

I'm here, just waiting for you PEA fans to tell us some exciting news about your club. Surely you have heard the rumour that they are relocating in 2012?

Of course Buriram PEA will be no longer I am told that the PEA will be sold to Thaksin and relocated to Chonburi province. Not sure about which month this will happen maybe you can enlighten us.

Interesting developments there Binnsy, but way off the mark as usual. Happy to hear that the rumours are getting through to you, will you tke any action before your club is moved out of town? Will you continue to follow them?

What might be confusing some folks is that it's "karma", as in what goes around comes around. I've applauded a couple of posts, and noticed my score too has gone up not long after. Likewise, I assume if you smite, your karma may suffer too.

Yep, thats whats happened to me, i'm on a hell of a downhill slope.

Oh just that I noticed Felix was on -2, and I can't imagine why anyone would want to "smite" such a happy chappy! He can't even grumble like I can :-) So I can only guess he said something to upset someone who is easily upset.
Sorry Felix, I won't mention you again. Until we beat BEC Tero anyway :-)

How did you manage to get onto 7? Oh what the hell, I'll give you another one to make 8.

**EDIT** - I tried again to give you 9, but told to wait 1 hour, i'll be back shortly to try again. I also smited Felix just to be cruel.

Already available with name?

Felix as soon as the squad numbers have been sorted they will have them in the shop. You are aware that they have to be paid for?
Newin may be wealthy but even he does NOT give to anyone who wants one as has been stated on here by one poster(druryfire).;-).
Also it may come as a surprise we also paid 500 baht to travel to away match's which included the match ticket.

As it's been stated here before not by me first, that people are carted in, kitted out, ins't that strange? Didn't say it was everyone Binnsy did I? Maybe your just sad at missing out and have the farang issue to deal with.

As for the visa issue with Buriram PEA, I like how it's always yourself bringing it up, have you never noticed the comparisions between PEA and North Korea? All chant to the same hymn sheet, all arrive together, leave together never to be seen again until the next matchday.

You also have a dig at Munagchon, but aren't you just the same? You came on here, abused people before even knowing who we are or what our view is on the game. It's a pity you just want to control everything around you, feel very sorry for your wife.
27  Thaifootball / Leagues & Clubs / Re: Buriram PEA on: January 30, 2011, 02:51:09 AM
I agree with you there Toni, i do think it's kind of the Thai way to enjoy yourself no matter where your going. For instance i could drag my wife kicking and screaming to a Buriram game but she would enjoy herself with the chanting etc, whereas I'd be more focused on the game, my highlight might be the 30 yard cracker, her's would be when everyone chanted a name in a syncorised way.

Buriram, whichever club it may be has never been talked about so much on here. But now we have Binnsy to answer questions just like we have with Greg, Dale and Andy in such threads, but with regards to them threads where you get a feel for whats happening, you get an honest opinion most of the time, here at Buriram we get the reply 'you've only done 3 posts, are you an expert?. I personally don't think Binnsy has ever answered a question and he wonders why we just keep shooting away.

All the members on here as fair as I'm concerned are very imformative, they aren't out to get anyone, they just want to understand whats happening. We think we know whats happening, but just to confirm we ask the questions, when these bounce back at us like we are attacking someone, then we know the questions we ask are correct.

No one has ever criticised the fans, the people on here who have been to there games as an away fan will criticise the club witht he way they are handled and comment on how strange it is to see the whole home support carted in, kitted out, thats never happened where i've been, but Binnsy doesn't see this as unusual, I guess i need to see Ipswich in action here, a club formed as Ipswich FC and merged with Ipswich Rugby Club, but i guess this early history doesn't matter to Binnsy, it was all before Town.
28  Thaifootball / Leagues & Clubs / Re: Royal Thai Army Thread on: January 30, 2011, 01:52:47 AM
So the Army survived by the skin of their teeth. Whats the odds on them going down this year?

I find a dull season for the Army really, well, um except for the PEA encounters, i hope they get drawn together in the FA Cup, League Cup and then throw in another tournament for the sake of it to go again.
29  Thaifootball / Leagues & Clubs / Re: TOT FC Thread on: January 30, 2011, 01:49:26 AM
I'm surprised any foriegn player even bothered with TOT this pre-season and then get signed on. Can't be good playing for a team who until the last few days didn't know who the owner was. What happens come pay day?
30  Thaifootball / Leagues & Clubs / Re: Buriram PEA on: January 30, 2011, 01:45:02 AM
I dont know where they were. Where have been all the MTU fans 4 years ago... where have  been all the BG fans 2 years ago... Nobody is pointing the finger at them.

They go their new found clubs because its fun, its cool and they enjoy it.

And so do buriram people.

Actually people do point the fingers at MTU and do ask the question, where did they all come from.

BG only started 2 years ago, and have always had a good backing.

Did anyone from Buriram support PEA 2 years ago? No, did they support Buriram, no. Do they support PEA and Buriram since they got paid, yes.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the likes of MTU when they do keep winning titles, when they stop will the fans stop? As for PEA, when they move out of town will the fans continue to follow them? They don't seem to have an issue with a 6 hour busride now, so will they have an issue when PEA are playing home games in Bangkok? Will they just follow Buriram even if they don't get paid?

Like you said they follow their new found clubs because it's fun and cool, yes it will be for the likes of MTU and BG and yes for the most of them they were newly found as beforre 2008 these clubs hardly went out of there way to generate a supporter base and with MTU they are probably lucky the supporter abse came to them. But with Buriam people, when it started was it fun and cool? No it wasn't, it was picking up money, it might be fun and cool now, but it wasn't from day one.

No one's ever gotten at PEA on the field, they are a good team, it's just the strange issues of the field that make the disucssion, but we put our point across and get bitten back at by what we are told loyal PEA supporters, who think they were formed last year, so loyal that they can't see any of the history behind them.
31  Thaifootball / Leagues & Clubs / Re: Chonburi FC Thread on: January 30, 2011, 01:28:28 AM
Just a quick one on this years AFC Cup, South China have added Nicky Butt and Kezman (ex-Chelsea) to there squad. Should be worth checking out when they are in town for any neutral.
32  Thaifootball / Leagues & Clubs / Re: Buriram PEA on: January 30, 2011, 01:19:41 AM

I think the PEA fans who do travel love football, love their city and they love to support their team. And I give them credit for it.

If they love there football thn why not love Buriram FC rather than the company team that was dragged in and could just as easily be pushed back out?
33  Thaifootball / Men Teams / Re: Thailand National team - general news on: January 28, 2011, 11:50:39 PM
I hope this works, but have a few questions.

How many assistants has Robson had in the 15 months or so he's been in charge?
Off the top of my head, I can think of Zico, and Steve Darby, plus I think there was a TPL coach in Indonesia for the Suzuki Cup (was it Apapol Busakom of PEA?). I think there was another alongside Zico. I know Zico left to develop himself elsewhere, and any club coach would be on temporary assignment, but surely this revolving door of assistant coaches can't be helping?

As for Piyapong, I know he was a hero in his playing days, but does he have any coaching experience? Just curious.

The article mentions he's in the Air Force, is a businessman and commentates, but nothing about his coaching. How much time is he actually going to dedicate to this new postion?

It wasn't that long ago that he very nearly ran for FAT President, and with elections always on Wowrai's mind, it could just be his way of pushing him to the side in another role before the press really catch on.

Why Robson can't choose his own back room staff is beyond me. It would be great to keep on some up and coming coaches, but with the really crappy thought process that goes into things during the season, then everyone just knows they can't be in two places at once.
34  Thaifootball / Leagues & Clubs / Re: Buriram PEA on: January 28, 2011, 03:57:43 PM
When attending matches in the u.k. there is always a guy at any ground that starts off the chants.Yes or no?Mexican wave?Same.

Mung Chon, could you let us know which P.E.A. games you attended ? As I myself went to a couple.
We all go along for the craic.Enjoyment means money well spent.Let these people enjoy themselves.

The games I went to were great fun. Infact the Buriram fans created the atmosphere.

there's a difference between paying to enjoy yourselves and being paid to enjoy yourself.

Well done to the guys who get paid, take the money why not, but they need to ask themselves why they go? For the football or for the money? Can they see the bigger picture at work here?

35  Thaifootball / Leagues & Clubs / Re: Buriram PEA on: January 27, 2011, 05:10:26 PM
then you will notice PEA did not start playing until last year.

BURIRAM PEA started last season yes or no?

I noticed PEA playing since i started following the game in 2006. So they already been around before you came along. In fact, I also remember them playing embarressingly poor in the ACL qualifiers at one point. Humbled 4:1 at home.
36  Thaifootball / Leagues & Clubs / Re: Buriram PEA on: January 26, 2011, 09:56:12 PM
With 10 games remaining, can PEA really take the title?

Here's their remaining fixtures:

Week 21: Aug 16 - Home to Bangkok Uni
Week 22: Aug 23 - Away to Port Authority
Week 23: Aug 30 - Home to Chonburi
Week 24: Sep 3 - Away to BKK Bank
Week 25: Sep 6 - Home to TOT
Week 26: Sep 13 - Away to Chula
Week 27: Sep 20 - Home to Customs
Week 28: Sep 27 - Away to BEC
Week 29: Oct 4 - Home to Nakhon Pathom
Week 30: Oct 11 - Away to Coke Bangphra

30 points at stake, i'm predicting they can get 23 points out of that lot.

They actually got nineteen, DF. However, that was enough because we spluttered during the final third.

If you care to listen to Binnsy, then you will notice PEA did not start playing until last year, so in theory they didn't win the championship, CFC did on a technicality.
37  Thaifootball / Leagues & Clubs / Re: Buriram PEA on: January 25, 2011, 09:58:49 PM
Certainly seems that the PEA/FC owners seem to be making rods for their own backs.

Do they really not think about things before they go on an ego trip?

I mean. Owner/Owner's wife going to collect a "Fans" award dressed in a different teams shirt!!!!

Who are you ?Total of 3 posts you are yet another expert on the running of Buriram PEA.I SENSE another partnership has been formed.

Does it really matter how many posts you've done to have an opinion?

If it does, then counting your 125 hardly makes you an expert on football in Buriram. Whats Buriram VA again?

I take my hat off to Drury with over 1000 posts.

Buriram VA that is VISION ASIA as if you did not no;-)

Still does not explain why someone with 3 posts to there name has dived in with both feet and started slagging of Buriram PEA does it?

Maybe he is an very informed guy who knows an awful lot about Thai football going back to the days of PEA Ayyuthaya, Chonburi Code Red etc but just didn't have an internet connection? On the other hand, in a week he could have 300 posts full of dribble, would that make him an expert in your opinion?

FIXTURE CHANGE

According to the TPL site, there are now only 5 matches on the 12th.

Khon Kaen v Osotspa
Si Saket v Navy- Rayong ( or whatever the name is)

are both moved to the 19th joining the Chonburi v Port fixture on that date.

I can't remember the last season that started with all teams playing. Always disjointed.

Seriously, troubled times at TOT it would appear, sad really that a club that could have huge potiential just can't get it right. What is there marketing arm like in the business world? For a telecomunications provider they seriously are poor. Feel sorry for there small band of fans.

Datsakorn is best player
Quote
Midfielder Datsakorn Thonglao of Muang Thong United won the 1st Football Siam Golden Ball Award yesterday while his teammate in the national side, Suchao Nutnum, was voted the most popular player.

he awards, organised by Football Siam TV of Siam Sport Syndicate, were presented at the Radisson hotel.

In addition to Datsakorn's prize, Muang Thong picked up three more awards, with Dagno Siaka of the Ivory Coast selected as best foreign player and Kawin Thamasatchanan the best young player.

Muang Thong was also named the best club.

Best coach award went to Pattaya United's Thavatchai Dumrong-Ongtrakul. who has since moved to Insee Police United.

Suchao, who plays for Buriram PEA was voted most popular player by the fans in a website poll.

Somruek Issarangkul Na Ayuddhya, director of Football Siam TV said he was very pleased with the success of the awards and he hoped to expand the number of awards next year.

BEST SUPPORTERS-BURIRAM PEA    YOU FORGOT TO MENTION THIS AWARD

Have just seen photos of the awards ceremony, and Buriram PEA should be stripped of that award.

How can you claim to have the best fans when:
A) You can't find a fan club rep to accept the award?
B) The person who does pick up the award for you is the owner of (what should be) a rival club?
And
C) She accepts the award wearing the shirt of her own club?

So Wolfie it has sunk in that SHE owns FC?
Buriram PEA was voted this award by viewers?.
If the owner cannot make the presentation himself who better to pick up a award than his wife?
What clothes she decides to where's is down to her or does she need your approval?. ;-)
As has been stated before BURIRAM PEA is in its first year and to my knowledge there is no offical FAN CLUB.

Oh Binnsy, still can't believe you think Burirma PEA are still in there first year. It makes TTM start a fresh every year, they could be known as the team that has never been beaten.

Anyway, can you tell us anything on Buriram VA that is starting up soon?

Their new name is BBCU FC (Big Bang Chulalongkorn University FC).

I'm just having a lugh with it Smiley

How the hell can anyone explain to the wife that they are going to watch Big Bang in action. What next? Trouser Snake Trang?

What is it with Saudi Arabia? At one moment they can be Asia's best and then the whipping bouys of world football. When they lose, they lose in style.  And I had them down as winners!

The Navy Fleet website also shows Rangsit Uni in the Bangkok League, so I guess they are running two clubs next year? Isn't this just getting slightly ridiculous?

Dru, they didn't update the table really. As you can see Bangkok FC is still in there Wink

Like i said, ridiculous.

Well yeah, at this moment of Thai football, i think it would be stupid to buy a team. I think if someone is serious about football then they should start in the RL, of which you could create a new team altogether. People who just want to make a quick fast buck i guess are the ones who jump straight into the TPL.

I'm wondering how hard it is to create a new club outside of Bangkok. It does appear if your in Bangkok you could create a new team but overheads would be much higher, amkes me wonder about the Thong Lor team mentioned previously and why JW Glass kind of sponsor the Rangsit Uni team rather than go at it on their own like Bangkok Glass.

Outside of Bangkok, it does seem that you have to take the province name to achieve anything, you need province backing or your already stumbled as you would need to rent the stadium from the province. I guess having everything in place yourself, so ownign yoru own ground, facilities makes it much easier, but then i guess thats the reason for buying TPL status.

This makes me wonder about that guy who appeared on this forum, asked questions on buying a club, promised to use our expertise and reward us with roles in the club, i'm still waiting my contract!

What a strange topic name this is. I just hope my daughter doesn't bring home a whole football team! Just the star player will do.

One for my old Wiki buddy Dru. Fleet is back on the picture and ready to enter the RL 2011!

The ship sunk when RL started, and now they are coming back!

Are they are feeder club for the Navy? Will they be sticking to the Navy Fleet Support name or maybe Fleet United?

Glad to see they are coming back, but where the hell have they been?

Samut Prakan Customs United will play at PAT Stadium this season according to a TLO article. Also, Bangkok Utd's home ground has been listed as Thai-Japanese Din Daeng for now.

So Customs change there name and then deice to move province! Great thinking, might aswell of stuck to Suvarnbhumi for the year.

Are Bangkok moving becasue of a bigger stadium? Or other issues such as rent?
