Tinsulanon Stadium, Songkhla: Situated in the southern portion of the country close to the Malaysian border, the Tinsulanon Stadium played host to the 1998 Asian Games football semifinals. The stadium, which has hosted many other events over the years, has a capacity of 20,000 out of which 2,500 are covered stands. The pitch measures 95m x 62m and is always kept in good condition. This stadium, which has a lighting ability of 900 lux, has the necessary features like proper dressing rooms and facilities and an electronic scoreboard with a timer, to host internationals.
