Thailand skipper Kiatisak Senamuang has set his sights on playing in the Asian Cup in July. The veteran proved a revelation during the Asean Championship but was sidelined through injury for most of the two-legged final.

He said he is now looking to the future.

''Everyone saw me playing and they know whether I can play or not,'' said Kiatisak.

''I would like to continue playing for the national team, especially in the Asian Cup.

''However, that will depend on whether I am selected or not.''

Thailand co-host the competition and the national team will first prepare in Germany for a month.
