Si Sa Ket hand Buriram first loss (05/06/2011)

Si Sa Ket stunned Buriram PEA 1-0 to hand the Thai Premier League leaders their first defeat of the season last night .

The Thunder Castle dominated for long periods but Victor Amaro scored the winner for the Koupreys at Si Sa Ket stadium.

Buriram had more scoring chances but the hosts defended well to frustrate the visitors in a northeastern derby.

But the surprise loss only did little damage to Buriram's title chase as second-placed Chonburi FC were held to a 1-1 home draw with Muang Thong United.

Therdsak Chaiman gave Chonburi the lead after 16 minutes. The two-time defending champions regrouped in the second half and deservedly got an equaliser through Datsakorn Thonglao.

Buriram have 39 points, seven ahead of Chonburi who have played one game less.

At Thammasat stadium, Insee Police United lost 1-0 to Thai Port FC with Ekkachai Sumre scoring the winner in the 31st minute.

At Army stadium, Army United came back from two goals down to earn a 3-3 draw with Pattaya United.

Niweat Siriwong put Pattaya in front in the 35th minute but Leandro dos Santos erased the deficit just before half-time.

Niweat was on target again in the 47th minute and Patipol Petchviset gave the Dolphins a 3-1 lead a few minutes later.

Rafael de Santana scored to make it 3-2 in the 69th minute and Leandro secured a point for the hosts a minute later.

At Mae Fah Luang stadium, Chiang Rai United beat TOT SC 2-0 with goals from Leontin Chitescu (12) and Edvaldo Pereira (27) .

At Thephatsadin stadium, BEC Tero Sasana's slump continued as they were hammered 3-1 by visitors Osotspa M-150 Saraburi.

BEC striker Ronnachai Rangsiyo opened the scoring after 12 minutes only for Pipat Tonkanya to equalise five minutes later.

Osotspa went ahead after 27 minutes through Lazarus Kumbi. Pichit Jaiboon sent the ball into his own net in injury time.

At Suzuki stadium, Sri Racha FC were defeated 2-1 by TTM Phichit.

Yeon Gi Sung gave TTM a 1-0 lead in the 35th minute before Aron da Silva equalised in the 45th minute.

Supakorn Naknoi sealed the three points for the visitors with a penalty kick in the 75th minute.

At Samut Songkhram stadium, SCG Samut Songkhram ended their poor run with a 2-0 win over Siam Navy.

Pollachai Hongthong opened the account in the 23rd minute and Fabio added the other goal in the 60th minute .
