England confirm Thai friendly (15/05/2010)
The Three Lions will travel to south-east Asia immediately after their UEFA EURO 2012 qualifier with Switzerland at Wembley on 4 June to tackle a team currently managed by former England skipper Bryan Robson.
It will be the first meeting between the two countries and will commemorate the 65th anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol's accession to the Thai throne.
The English FA have already invested a lot of time in Thailand.
Manager Fabio Capello attended a seminar in the region to help local coaches in July 2008, whilst English football already gets major spin-offs from the region due to the massive popularity of the Premier League.
