Final selections for Thailand's Asian Games football squad will be made after they play in the Agribank Cup in Hanoi, Vietnam next week. In addition to Thailand and Vietnam, the quadrangular tournament from October 24-28 will also feature Bahrain and New Zealand.

Thailand head coach, Charnwit Phalajivin will be be closely watching the performance of four senior players _ Kosin Hatairattanakool, Jakkrit Bunkhum, Suree Sukha and Sutee Suksomkij.

Three of the four will be selected for the Asian Games squad. Each team is allowed three players aged over 23.

''I'll see how they perform and then make my decision,'' Charnvit said.

He expected Sutee would join striker Teerathep 'Leesaw' Winothai up front.

Charnvit said he was not too concerned about the poor results his team has suffered in earlier warm-ups.

''The results weren't important. We have been trying different combinations and just preparing the team,'' he said.

Bahrain and Vietnam will also be fielding their Asian Games teams while New Zealand will have their national team.
