Thailand atfull strength in second leg (December 19, 2008)

Thailand coach Peter Reid had been worried about the fitness of defender Chonlatit Jantakam and midfielder Surat Sukha but both could train yesterday.

"Every player trained today. It is good to have every player fit for Saturday's match," said the English coach.

The former England international said he hoped misfiring striker Teerathep Winothai would score his first goal in the tournament against Indonesia who lost 1-0 to Thailand in the first leg. "I would not be surprised if we put on a good show in Bangkok but the most important thing is that we go through to the final," said Reid.

Tomorrow's game will be Reid's first match in Bangkok as Thailand coach and the Englishman urged Thai fans to come out to cheer their national team.

In the other semi-final, Vietnam drew 0-0 with defending champions Singapore in the first leg on Wednesday. The return leg will be on Sunday.

The semi-final winners will meet in a two-leg final on December 24 and 28. The away goal rule is not used in the tournament.

Tickets for Thailand v Indonesia match are 100, 200, 400 and 600 baht and available at Thai Ticket Major outlets and Star Soccer shops.
