Thailand, who have already qualified for the semi-finals, will rest some players in their final preliminary-round match against Indonesia tomorrow.

The game will take place at His Majesty the King's 80th Birthday Anniversary Stadium and be televised live on TITV at 7.45pm.

After beating Burma 3-2 and thrashing Cambodia 8-0, Thailand, who are gunning for their eighth straight gold medal, need a draw against Indonesia to top Group A.

Thailand coach Thongsuk Sumpahangsit said his men were in good shape both physically and mentally after hammering Cambodia.

Defender and captain Kiatprawut Saiwaew who is nursing a slight injury will be rested against Indonesia, he said.

Wisarut Phannasri, Atthipol Poolsap, Thana Channaboot and Weerayut Jitkuntod will get chances to feature in the starting line-up.

In the women's event, Thailand will play their last preliminary-round match against Burma today at 3.15pm (live on Channel 11).

Both Thailand and Burma have three points from beating Malaysia in the first match. The Thais need a draw to top Group B.
