The Football Association of Thailand has received an official letter from Manchester City inviting three Thai players to have trials with the club. The players, as expected, are Suree Sukha and Kiatprawut Saiwaew (Chonburi _ Thailand Premier League) and Teerasil Dangda (Muang Thong-Nong Jok United _ Division 2.)

President of the FAT, Worawi Makudi said the invitation was signed by former Thai Prime Minister, Thaksin Shinawatra.

''We are making arrangements for the three players to get a visa,'' Worawi said.

''Once the players are ready, we will give them permission to go.''

Worawi said other Thai players would be sent abroad for training. ''Four players will go to Fulda in Germany,'' he said.

''We have a good connection with the people in Germany. If the players that we select do well, German clubs may sign them up.''

Vittaya Khunpluem, chairman of Chonburi football club said he didn't have any problem about losing two of his key players, Suree and Kiatprawut.

''We are pleased and have congratulated the two players,'' he said. ''We want them to make the most of the opportunity. However, if possible we would prefer them to go when the first leg of the Thailand League ends on September 8.''
