Thailand coach Chanvit Phalajivin said he is pleased with the progress his side are making during their current trip to Germany.

The Asian Cup team defeated German Fourth Division side Borussia Fulda 2-1 in a friendly on Saturday and next face amateurs TSV Lennarts on Thursday.

''Every players is gaining benefit from this trip,'' said Chanvit.

''We are improving fitness in each position because we want to build up the muscles of the players.

''We are training twice and day and working on technique too.''

Chanvit said he was trying to iron out problems in front of goal after a host of squandered chances during the game against Fulda.

The side will finish their tour with a match against the U21 Eintracht Frankfurt team on Sunday at 11am local time (4pm Thai time).

''This will be a good test for us,'' said Chanvit.
