Therdsak and Sutee picked (May 30, 2007)



Singapore-based Therdsak Chaiman and Sutee Suksomkit will be selected for the Asian Cup sqaud although they are likely to miss Thailand's friendly against Holland and training in Germany. Thailand manager Kittirat na Ranong said the two veteran stars may not return to play against the Dutch at Rajamangala National Stadium next Wednesday due to engagements with their S-League clubs.

They are also likely to be unavailable to train with Thailand's Asian Cup squad in Germany, he said.

However, the manager said they will be selected to the Thai Asian Cup side because they are experienced and skilful players.

The Holland match will be part of Thailand's preparations for the Asian Cup of which Thailand is one of the four hosts.

Thailand will announce their initial 28-man squad for the Asian Cup after the Holland match.
